I've recently remembered that all sunflower seeds I've eat as a child were rather small and their color was light-brown to beige - but now there are some much much bigger and somewhat ill-looking seeds out there.
The last sunflower I bought was looking great and healthy at the beginning - but after some time it began to "mutate" in an alarming way.
Can any long experienced sun flower expert confirm such observations?
