Libs Attack Justice Clarence Thomas For Slamming Obsession With Race

Race baiters unhappy about being called out

Following U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ assertion that the nation is far too obsessed with racial differences, liberals pounced on Thomas’ remarks by hurling racist slurs while others implied that the black judge was himself being racist.

During an event at Palm Beach Atlantic University this week, Thomas stated, “The worst things that have been done to me, the worst things that have been said about me, by northern liberal elites, not by the people of Savannah, Georgia.”

“My sadness is that we are probably today more race and difference-conscious than I was in the 1960s when I went to school. To my knowledge, I was the first black kid in Savannah, Georgia, to go to a white school. Rarely did the issue of race come up,” Thomas said. “Now, name a day it doesn’t come up. Differences in race, differences in sex, somebody doesn’t look at you right, somebody says something. Everybody is sensitive. If I had been as sensitive as that in the 1960s, I’d still be in Savannah.”

MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow blog responded to Thomas’ speech by attempting to argue that more race conciousness was a good thing because nobody wanted to return to 1960′s Jim Crow era. A CNN segment also implied that Thomas himself was racist for wanting to move on from race even being an issue.

However, Thomas is clearly not making excuses for the treatment of blacks half a century ago, his point about oversensitivity towards race is obviously aimed at “northern liberal elites” like those who run MSNBC, who constantly play the race card as a cheap political tool to cynically demonize their idoelogical adversaries.

“When conservatives disagree with the nation’s first black president, they’re often labeled as racists. But when liberals disagree with the nation’s only black Supreme Court justice, all at once it’s the justice who’s the racist. I find it difficult to follow this line of reasoning,” writes Michael Dorstewitz.

Criticism of Obama’s policies has ludicrously been characterized as closet racism on numerous occasions by MNSBC and top Democrats.

Last year, the head of the Louisiana Democratic party, state senator Karen Carter Peterson, said that the sole reason so many Americans opposed Obamacare was because Obama was black.

MSNBC has also reapeatedly attempted to claim that using the word “Obamacare” is code for racism, while concurrently referring to Tea Party supporters as “teabaggers”.

MSNBC even labeled the Associated Press racist for accurately transcribing Obama’s September 2011 Black Caucus speech, while MSNBC talking head Richard Wolffe mused that Republican opposition to Obama making a speech on a date that clashed with a presidential debate was down to “the color of his skin”.

In 2009, MSNBC host Carlos Watson insinuated that calling Obama a “socialist” was secret code for a racist slur.

The real reason why Democrats, along with MSNBC and CNN contributors, are unhappy with Thomas’ comments, is because he called them out for what they are – race baiters who are obsessed with labeling everyone else racist simply to score political points.

"Yes, another fake by Bezos...A shame, as I like Shatner's acting on the original Star Trek...But, that's his bread and butter, as a skilled actor...reading a script and delivering his lines, written for him by a script editor..
