Our stomachs can and always do, digest best when they're given plenty of nutrient rich liquid in them that is not dependent on sugar. The purpose of which, exists to create extra fat stored to help you prevent being hungry sooner. It comes down to food not just rich in carbohydrates but also enzymes. All meat has this elixir in abundance in addition to other essential oils. Particularly fish oil, nut oil and plant oil extracts that contain digestible mineral content.
Not eating properly is when you get serious health conditions and diseases that are terminal. Your body does digest what it consumes. So if you eat healthy, it means you consume everything else that ate healthy as well. Plants supplement protein, they can't produce it themselves. The same is true about beans and chickpeas. They don't contain enzymes that store nutrient saving energy which continue to break down as your body turns that into energy for you.
Granulated sugar is less harmful on its own, when supplemented with nutrient rich foods than a purely vegetarian based diet. I'll tell you that much. Any Grand Master will know this as well. And these so called Yogis who live on a mountain with very little to eat for themselves, only eat less because they're likely cold and have thinner amounts of oxygen to help them conserve energy in other ways. You eat more when you're not living on a mountain covered by ice surrounding you. This is because the weight of everything around you is greater at lower elevations, forcing you to have to use and consume more energy around to manage it.
As a consequence of planetary gravity, those who live below sea level, have to work twice as hard to feed themselves. Which is why if you visit places like Israel for instance, you'll notice chiefly they serve fresh vegetables a lot more quickly to feed their population. Who can't survive being so close to the dead sea, as the pressure is too great 1000 to 2000 feet below sea level, to sustain bacterial life.
Don't kid yourself. And try to eat a balanced diet if you can.
Africans are mainly omniverous, which is the natural way for most...Some prefer the carnivore diet, in western countries, because they cannot eat too many vegetables and salads, etc, as they bloat....So have to eat meat.....
