Surprises, Challenges & Blessings

As the end of what we refer to as a year closes many find themselves reviewing the past. For me, I decided to take a walk and I walked around outside really needing some fresh air, hoping to see the stars above. Instead the dampness in the air and hazy grey skies were in abundance. It’s been like this for many days now. Stillness in the night, only thing I can hear is the geese nearby the water’s edge. I think how unusual to hear them at night.

Instead of it feeling like winter it feels like spring. Could it be …I thought? Could our time have sped up so much that spring is upon us now? Reminds me of the old saying “April showers bring May flowers.” We have had a lot of rainy days this month. Something to ponder upon!

So this year has been full of surprises as in perhaps revelations, challenges and blessings. Although many view surprises as a present, this is not necessarily so for my experience though out this past year.. Most of the surprises or revelations of sort have been brought on by those that are in service to self thru negativity or egoic mindsets.

Within this but not limited to it has brought on challenges to overcome and a continued effort of  moving forward. Though it all by acknowledging and/or /accepting all the blessings big and small that is freely given.

So I take my sadness for all the surprises and I wash them clean and bright. I add a little love to make the sadness into softness then gently fold and place it into a box and wrap it in my favorite rays of colours. Now it is a gift.

(Just a little transformation~smiles) How beautiful... right... now its' time to fly!

Each challenge is knowledge and understanding. Through True understandings are Blessings.
