It is not clear if this declaration falls under the National Emergencies Act (50 U.S.C. 1601–1651). The act is not mentioned in media reports.The National Emergencies Act was passed in 1976. It has been extended six times. In 2007, the declaration was strengthened with the issuance of National Security Presidential Directive 51 (NSPD-51) which gave the president the authority to do whatever he deems necessary in a vaguely defined “catastrophic emergency” including everything from canceling elections to suspending the Constitution.NSPD-51 (National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive) is unconstitutional. It was created on May 4, 2007, as a “presidential directive” (bypassing Congress) and signed by George W. Bush. It claims the power to execute procedures for continuity of the federal government in the event of a “catastrophic emergency.” Such an emergency is construed as “any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions.”In other words, it is a martial law directive. On May 10, 2007, The Washington Post characterized NSPD-51 is a “shadow government” directive.The John Warner National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2007 states that the military may be used during a “national emergency.” Sec 1076 is extremely explicit, notes Michel Chossudovsky, and “virtually creates a Pinochet style environment for the mass arrest of political dissidents without trial, the storming of public rallies, etc.”NDAA specifically mentions “epidemic” as an excuse to declare martial law.Prior to Warner and NSPD-51, legislation passed by the Clinton administration allowed the military to intervene in judicial and civilian law enforcement activities. In 1996, legislation was passed which allowed the military to intervene in the case of a national emergency. In 1999, Clinton’s Defense Authorization Act (DAA) extended those powers (under the 1996 legislation) by creating an “exception” to the Posse Comitatus Act, which permits the military to be involved in civilian affairs “regardless of whether there is an emergency,” according to Chossudovsky.In 2005, a month after Hurricane Rita, a so-called bird flu “crisis” was hyped by the government and the corporate media. “I am concerned about avian flu. I’m concerned about what an avian flu outbreak could mean for the United States and the world… I have thought through the scenarios of what an avian flu outbreak could mean,” Bush declared at the time. “One option is the use of a military that’s able to plan and move. So that’s why I put it on the table. I think it’s an important debate for Congress to have” (emphasis added).Bush’s directive, signed two years later, did not bother to involve Congress in the “debate.”Obama’s declaration of a national emergency sets the stage for forced vaccination and internment of people who refuse to be vaccinated.In January, the National Emergency Centers Establishment Act (HR 645) was introduced in Congress. It calls for the establishment of six national emergency centers in major regions in the US to be located on existing military installations to be used to quarantine people in the case of a public health emergency or forced vaccination program. HR 645 remains in committee.The H1N1 “crisis” is a manufactured crisis. As noted earlier today, a CBS investigative report reveals that H1N1 flu cases are not as prevalent as we are told by the government, the CDC, WHO, and the corporate media. The so-called epidemic is bogus.Millions of people are refusing to take the H1N1 vaccine. In the weeks ahead — if Obama’s emergency declaration falls under the above directives — we may witness a move toward martial law, forced vaccination, and internment of those who refuse.At best, Obama’s declaration is a flimsy attempt to scare people into taking the toxic soft kill vaccination. Let’s hope this is the case.

There was a recent poll that 62% of Americans will refuse the flu shot because of safety concerns. Also, CBS revealed that the ‘swine flu’ cases were seriously overestimated. This means that most of the flu cases weren’t actually ‘swine flu’ cases at all! But even with these mainstream reports, Obama still went ahead and declared a ‘national emergency’. Just unbelievable! This move is definitely suspicious. If Americans won’t willingly take the flu shot, they’ll just call a ‘national emergency’ instead and force the issue. I sense desperation.

But when there’s desperation, things are going to come to a head very soon because the powers-that-be are going to come face-to-face with the increasingly awakening masses. Well that collision is actually happening now and will heighten even more. This is indeed a very anxious time to be living in; nevertheless, the transformation is happening now and I believe will culminate soon in a few years. And of course, those awakened will make it through the transition.

It really amazes me how far the dark forces will go to promote their agenda, they will stop at nothing to destroy all of Gods creation. I just saw a very disturbing video on You Tube of a very dangerous side effects of this rushed massed produced vaccine. The lady who supposedly took this vaccine now has her whole nervous system damaged. I am here to tell you right NOW, the dark forces are finished. They got something coming their way you just wait and see it is the calm before the storm so to speak. The forces of GOOD already know the ending to this movie called LIFE, and they know the MASTER PLAN of the creators wish. Their time is up and they know it, there is no where to run or hide, I speak on behalf of every individual upon this planet because I am in pain when you are in pain we are all the same human being. I love every one with all my heart and please leave your feedbacks and comments. I will see if I can also get a link to that video.

  According to the Britannica Concise Encyclopedia, Martial Law is the "Temporary rule of a designated area by military authorities in time of emergency when the civil authorities are deemed unable to function. Under martial law, civil rights are usually suspended, and the activities of civil courts are restricted or supplanted entirely by military tribunals. Such "acts done by necessity" are limited only by international law and the conventions of civilized warfare. Though temporary in theory, a state of martial law may in fact continue indefinitely."
  It is extremely important to note that when Martial Law is declared and implemented, it follows that THE WRIT OF HABEAS CORPUS IS SUSPENDED, i.e. The "authorities" take away from the people their human rights, or basic civil rights and liberties as citizens.

    Let me see now...what military? To contain a country of more than 400.000.000 people.The martial law would have to be global if it has any chances to work.And trust me Europe is not into this bullshit.Does one realy think the US would undermine its own and put itself at the mercy of other countrys by implementing martial law? First do everything posible to get out of the crisis and then make another one? Lets call back all the armed forces out of other countrys so we can have martial law...you got to be kidding me.Already now there are Generals that refuse to go to Irak...they shure will not come and F...k with their own country.

      Sincerely hope you are right on this. It is a reasonable argument for sure. Hard to tell what is going to happen so just best to sit tight with our eyes and ears open and with all the light in our hearts and souls that we can muster.
