Wall Street, actually international companies/huge investment firms finagled the US Gov. into allowing US companies to manufacture in China-aside from continual human rights abuses against their own people Chines Communists are building a war machine from profits from capital investment. And jobless in the US continues, bama and the socialist gang have no clue!

Yes, it is a great tragedy, all the jobs going "south" so to speak. I live in Milwaukee, and we used to be known as the "manufacturers of the world"; now, as far as cities go, we are fourth worst city to live in, Detroit being number one. Definitely, it's a "race to the bottom" - but it's all PLANNED, isn't it?
the chinese slaves make all the stuff now-greed by US and international companies and unions kept gouging for more benefits-we need real leadership to come up with ideas to put people to work and grow the private sector- all the kids are being brain washed that the gov can provide !!!
Even 20 years ago Milwaukee was OK?
Well, I grew up in the 50's and Milwaukee was FANTASTIC! (Just like all those TV shows - Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, and That 70's show - it was just like that!) . It was a WONDERFUL place to live. We used to have the best transportation system in the entire U.S. - trolleys would run EVERY THREE MINUTES (but that was a little before my time). You could just have a high school education and get a union job (or at least a GOOD job). Now, unless you're a professional, it's pretty dim. I would not advise anyone to live here or move here. Yes, Milwaukee is dying, little by little by little.
that's a shame darkstar-could have been avoided if everyone worked togther
