I received this story today in my inbox, and I love it! I have no idea whothe author is, so please, if anyone knows let me know so I can give the propercredits. And God created a new animal to be a companion for Adam andEve. And it was a good animal. And God was pleased. And the newanimal was pleased to be with Adam and Eve and he wagged his tail. AndAdam said, 'Lord, I have already named all the animals in the Kingdom and Icannot think of a name for this new animal.'And God said, 'I havecreated this new animal to be a reflection of my love for you, his name will bea reflection of my own name, and you will call him DOG.'And Dog livedwith Adam and Eve and was a companion to them and loved them. And they werecomforted. And God was pleased. And Dog was content and wagged histail. After a while, it came to pass that an angel came to the Lord andsaid, 'Lord, Adam and Eve have become filled with pride. I loved this too. I did not send it to you, but glad you shared it. So true to the nature of cats! I have raised cats all my life and this is so true. Great allegory/joke whatever it is. Thanks for putting a smile on my face.
