An old friend told me once a sentence which opened my eyes:
There are two conversions necessary in life. One is to God and the second one to yourself.
The first conversion is a name for getting open to the divine. The divine is the field of our real being and heritage, The second conversion is a name for dealing with the figure having tasted from the divine - you yourself. And finding yourself is a big work of disillusionment. It takes long ways letting this happen. The taste of the divine is too sweet and almost like a drug, like finest opium.
It was Lenin, the russian revolutionist, who said: Religion is opium for the people. And he is right in a certain way.
It needs a kind of implementation of the divine in normal life. Over the time nobody can live from the sweet honey of the divine. The eagle must land. Humans are beings with two feet. They need to be grounded. They can not only fly high. The ground is mother Earth and the body you live in.
Each dream to only fligh high is beautiful and important. It is necessary to find new views and powers and encouragement. Tasting the opium of heaven makes a human remembering where he originally comes from and where he belongs to.
Without implementing the taste of the divine into a life on two feet in everyday life life itself appears worthless. Many went into this trap considering a life under human conditions pale and worthless, only a necessity.
They still deny the strength of their ego, for they try push it with the divine. I have met humans who commanded a storm in the name of Jesus, others commanded cancer and whatever things they considererd a demonic force. The taste of the divine honey made them believe they can use superhuman powers. I saw even teens acting this way...
The conversion to you yourself is a hard thing. It challenges you to let go of your divine imaginations of power and might. It challenges you to become humble and accept - that you are human, a limited, not so mighty, tiny human - far from omnipotence and perfectibility.
I will not go deeper in this, for I have done so in most of my 500 posts. My intent is to show the beauty of simply being human. You will discover this once you are ready to have a conversion to yourself.
Then you come home - exactly where you are at any time and place. And not even death is a real problem. And also not exposures of - impotence. Christ revealed his father as God of impotence instead of omnipotence. Thus he became a compagnon of humans by becoming really human.
There is no real need for channels and special Merkabah stuff and whatever. Not really. But coming home is a nice thing. Yeah, coming home this time...
