The parable of the prodigal son. Rejoice for the lost is found! It was the son who always did what was "rightious" and honorable that was jealous of the prodigal son, and held resentment, so where is the perfection in the "righteous/" Just a point to ponder....
I guess what I am trying to say is I have often observed a quirk of human nature that when one gets peace in their life and feel they are on the proper path and have weeded out that which they do not desire in their life, then many people get feeling all righteous and then look down on others who are still struggling along their own paths and may have not gotten there yet due to circumstances and challenges in their lives. I have seen this so often. Instead of helping the people struggling to find peace and love in their lives and are having a tough time, some righteous people tend to take an attitude that they are somehow more deserving and feel superior, and tend to treat people in a condescending manor. Why is that? I could never understand.
Love to you
