The 'fingures of God' are pointing out something: our ignorance of astronomy is of astronomical proportions.I have often asked what is the fuel and what is the engine that propels the rocket of science. The fingures of God are directly pointing at you! The horror of a geocentric model of the universe seems not to be able to ever leave astronomy.When you try to say that the redshift rather indicates a motion of clusters of galaxies and not the expansion of space, it raises the question as to how Hubble discovered the 'law'. Alegedly he observed individual galaxies and he was soon swearing that the entire universe is expanding. But now if whole clusters anywhere can be moving at any velocity, including towards you, could it be that Hubble merely selected those that agrees with the theory? After all it is the aestethics of general relativity that predicted the expansion.
