I LABELED both "Western Science" and "Spirituality". It is the act of mislabeling two identical concepts as separate and distinct concepts that creates the problem. The link is already there, we simply have to open our eyes.
We just have to realize that the concept of The Universe is the concept of God. Now, I am not in neuroscience, but I feel educated enough on the subject to make this point: Western scientists make the neural connection substituting The Universe for God. (or the other way around because there is no favored perspective) God, in turn, becomes physically linked, via the connections in the brain, to crazy nonsense. With this arrangement, how could religious folks and science folks ever hope to have a conversation! The translator is broken.
The parallels in fact form a complete picture when you take the time to make the translations. Your Rosetta Stone is your heart.
