Hi, I was going over this dream last night and decided to post about to see people's thoughts.
This is a dream I had when I was a little girl, maybe 8 years old. I was torn over whether I should put it in the dream forum because i'm starting to wonder if it wasn't astral travel instead. This did happen during my sleep though.
I was in my room in my two story house yet I suddenly found myself downstairs in an instant. I was in the backyard in the middle of the night, the grass was cool and I could feel the cold wind. Suddenly I heard a tiny voice somewhere in the garden. I tried to find it as it guided it me to it. It was a tiny little man in the garden. He told me to step into the ring of mushrooms he was next to. I instantly found myself to have shrunk, to his size.
I took his hand and instantly we were underground in his city. He showed me to another man there.
He had a clipboard type thing and a pen and we was running around frantically. He told me he was glad I was there. It was at this point I noticed that I was no longer an 8 year old but I was at least in my 20s. I was also wearing a long maroon robe as aposed to my pajamas. The city looked terrible, it was in the process of collapsing like something terrible had just happened.
Other little folk were running around crying and shouting for loved ones. The man I was with told me to walk with him. My memory gets fuzzy here I can't remember everything he said. As he talked to me he was running down a list he wrote, like they were short notes on what he needed to tell me.
He told me they needed my help (although WHY wasn't explained to me). He went through the list detailing things they wanted me to do. After that point my memory goes blank I can't remember what happened after or how I got back.
I wouldn't have posted this but last night I began to remember other little weird things that happened after it. This happened out of dreamtime. I used to hear the same tiny voices from time to time. The best memory I had was I was watching T.V in my parent's room and after switching it off, a tiny voice said "Thank you." I looked around but couldnt see anyone near enough to say it. I told my dad but he just told me there was a little man who lives in T.Vs and when you push buttons he has to run back and forth making things work from the inside lol.
They were kind of like the same size as traditional fairies, they could fly and levitate only they don't have wings.
