I understand the quote, but "spirituality" is such an umbrella term... it does not save someone from their own beliefs or dogma.
Inversely, there are many religious people who don't carry that fear of hell with them, and actually seem more spiritual.
So, this is why it is stupid to get hung up on labels... ANY label.

All religious beliefs are the same thing, they all come from love and want the outcome of being closer to love.
Not all religious beliefs are the same thing, sorry. Not all come from love. There are many practices and beliefs that are quite barbaric-- and while the purpose may have been to serve some kind of closeness to God, not all practices and beliefs are the "same thing."
However, the underlying theme of many and most religions does seem to carry the common theme of love and oneness, I believe that is what you meant.
I feel like I've been directed to some kind of advertisement... but then, I didn't give it that much time because it rubbed me the wrong way...
