The Saturn Myth
The Saturn theory offers a radically different approach to understanding the recent history of the solar system.1 Briefly summarized, the theory posits that the neighboring planets only recently settled into their current orbits, the Earth formerly being involved in a unique planetary configuration of sorts together with Saturn, Venus, and Mars. As the terrestrial skywatcher looked upwards, he saw a spectacular and awe-inspiring apparition dominating the celestial landscape. At the heart of heaven the massive gas giant Saturn appeared fixed atop the North polar axis, with Venus and Mars set within its center like two concentric orbs (see figure one, where Venus is the green orb and Mars the innermost red orb). The theory holds that the origin of ancient myth and religion—indeed the origin of the primary institutions of civilization itself—is inextricably linked to the appearance and evolutionary history of this unique congregation of planets.

How does one go about documenting this extraordinary claim? Extraordinary claims, it is said, require extraordinary evidential support in order to believed. While I believe the Saturn theory can meet this crucial test, it goes without saying that a discussion of the various lines of evidence pointing to the polar configuration would require several volumes in order to make a fully compelling case. In this brief overview I can do no more than offer a small sampling of the relevant evidence.

Symbols of an Alien Sky – Official Full Movie
We present the first in the Thunderbolts Project’s series of DVDs outlining David Talbott’s reconstruction of the ancient sky. Just a few thousand years ago a gathering of planets appeared as towering forms close to the earth, provoking spectacular electric discharge formations above our forebears.

And what happened to the mammoth?
Velikovsky may have something regarding irregular planetary motion and electrical nature created by planets. I have looked at Venus through my Celestron telescope and saw "sparkles" taking place (either in the atmosphere or on the surface) and I also saw the same phenomena taking place while looking at Jupiter.
It is possible that the planets were in close proximity at one time, a VERY long time ago. The formation of rings around a planet takes a long time, and it's proven that Saturn has been around for a very long time, much longer than Earth. If it is true that Saturn was a "sun substitute" at one time (and had other planets nearby the Earth), the probability of life existing is slim due to the chaos taking place with the planets that close together and throwing their gravity pulls all over the place and disrupting delicate life forms.
Hence. I do agree with the video per the possibility that the planets were very close in proximity at one time. But I don't buy this theory in the video that life existed and was able to record such events; the chaos that would exist during such a time would kill off and disrupt advanced forms of life, if such life existed at that time. And if indeed advanced life was brought to Earth via alien life forms, it would be brought during calmer times. Chaos is not always a good thing to have when setting up a laboratory.
Note that the Golden Age (during ancient Greeece) that the narrator was talking about is also known as The Age Of Capricorn. And Saturn rules the sign of Capricn in every branch of astrology that I studied, including Uranian astrology.
