The Solution -- the end of Suffering

Suffering --that painful expression of ache and frustration manifest in body mind and soul.

There are various types of suffering and to appear in this world -- some call it 3D- some call it the material world-everyone endures suffering be they a lowly worm or the loftiest Buddha..

There are three basic categories of suffering that everyone endures depending on the platform

of Body Mind and Soul...

Misery comes from our own mind

Misery comes from having a physical body

Misery comes from other living beings..

In Sanskrit-----Its adi daivic -- hand of God

adi atmic-- our own mind

adi Bhodic===injury from others... be they purposeful or even accidental...

Is there no escape?

What can one do?

This is the question posed to Siddhartha Gotama under the Bhodi Tree...

What is the end of suffering?

Will suffering every cease?

Is there a stress free realm beyond anxiety?

So this is the topic--

My proposal--- as passed along from the Teachings of the Lama's

Suffering should never be wasted. The suffering that one endures can be dedicated as service to others...So in a cry for mercy and to relieve the pain of all sentient beings may my suffering be enough..

may I take on the suffering of others as a gift to them..

May my experience of suffering be enough to give lift and lighten the burden of the pain of the world.

You imagine that all the suffering of the world is a smokey cloud floating everywhere...

and you accept -- take in that pain and suffering in your breath.

you breath i n suffering

and when its inside you -you transform that suffering into love and compassion..--

and then you breath out light and healing...

every breath you take in is for the sake of healing a world in painful seperation

Then your suffering takes on a marvelous new meaning...

it off balances the burden of the world and brings us all closer to thoughtful harmony.

  • hi,

the sanskrit words are as follows - adidaivik (calamities that are brought upon by man), adibhautik (calamities that are brought about by natural forces) and adhyatmik (calamities that are brought about by spiritual forces). You can replace the word "calamities" by "suffering" and/or "misery".

Adhyatmik suffering is derived from "tapas" meaning "penance". Adibhautik suffering is derived from the "bhutas" meaning the elements - earth, water, fire, air, and ether. Adidaivik suffering is derived from the dvaita (the two fold physical principle) meaning "man".
