Do you know that one in three patients have their body part removed which was not necessary?Do you know that one in five patients die due to Doctors treatments?The Truth About Doctors, Big Pharma, and the FDATo those of you who know me all too well and have talked to me for awhile, you know I'm anti-modern medicine, and in fact I'm so opposed to modern medicine that I absolutely refuse treatment for anything and everything. But why?Let me preface this post with a little quote from the Eiffel-65 song "Too Much Of Heaven" by saying this:"Let me tell you what it's all about.It's called money dependence today.And people just keep on looking after the dollar bill, and nothing else around them.No love, no friendship nothing else.Just the dollar bill coming on into their pocket and into their bank account."That, ladies and gentlemen, is what drives the medical industry today. It's not your well-being, it's not the fact that they care about people and want to see people live long, healthy lives. It's about money dependence.You see, if medicine really cured people, doctors and Big Pharma would be out of business. Why? They'd lose valuable customers. They make their money by selling you treatments and medicine that actually don't make you better, but just mask the problem, while creating other problems. These "side effects" as they call them are far from accidental or incidental. They are INTENTIONALLY designed into these drugs.You see, to a doctor, you aren't a person. You're a patient. And here's how doctors view patients:Yes, to a doctor, their patients are merely FILES. Files full of money waiting to pad their pocket books. Why else would you think doctors charge $150 for a simple office consultation that's maybe worth $15 of their time? It's all about the money.That's not all though, Big Pharma is to blame as well. Did you know they give doctors incentives to prescribe only their products? Well, they do. As a matter of fact, the more doctors prescribe their drugs, the more incentives they give doctors. Why do you think we're so over-medicated these days? Bingo, we have a winner! Of course, the deceitful ads that Big Pharma runs on TV only add to the problem, brainwashing unsuspecting people into believing they need to take their stuff for whatever ailment they're advertising treatment for.Now, where's the FDA in all this? Isn't it their duty to stop this? It is, but they don't. Why? They have HUGE investments in Big Pharma. In other words, the more money Big Pharma makes, the richer the employees at the FDA get! What is that all about? Yeah, I think it's very clear now, and to deny it is just pure ignorance. It's so easy to get FDA approval these days? Why? The FDA's profits depend on it and depend on people being medicated and made sicker by Big Pharma's poison! Not to mention the FDA has made it very clear that "ONLY drugs can cure disease." If that doesn't shoot up a red flag, I don't know what does.What can be done about this seemingly insoluble problem? Well, for one, just stop going to doctors. Quit letting them pump their crap into you that's slowly killing you, even though they say it's making you live longer. Look up all natural remedies, and take your business to a holistic practitioner or nutritionist. Doctors' overconfidence is just one reason why.This article originally appeared on Health Beat.Despite all of the talk about medical errors and patient safety, almost no one likes to talk about diagnostic errors. Yet doctors misdiagnose patients more often than we would like to think. Sometimes they diagnose patients with illnesses they don't have. Other times, the true condition is missed. All in all, diagnostic errors account for 17 percent of adverse events in hospitals, according to the Harvard Medical Practice Study, a landmark study that looks at medical errors.Traditionally, these errors have not received much attention from researchers or the public. This is understandable. Thinking about missed diagnosis and wrong diagnosis makes everyone -- patients as well as doctors -- queasy. Especially because there is no obvious solution. But this past weekend the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) made a brave effort to spotlight the problem, holding its first-ever "Diagnostic Error in Medicine" conference.Hats off to Bob Wachter, associate chairman of the Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, and the keynote speaker at the conference. Wachter shared some thoughts on diagnostic errors through his blog Wachter's World.Wachter begins by pointing out that a misdiagnosis lacks the concentrated shock value that is needed to grab the public imagination. Diagnostic mistakes "often have complex causal pathways, take time to play out, and may not kill for hours [i.e., if a doctor misses myocardial infarction in a patient], days (missed meningitis) or even years (missed cancers)." In short, to understand diagnostic errors, you need to pay attention for a longer period of time -- not something that's easy to do in today's sound-bite driven culture.Diagnostic errors just aren't media-friendly. When someone is prescribed the wrong medication and they die, the sequence of events is usually rapid enough that the story can be told soon after the tragedy occurs. But the consequences of a mistaken diagnosis are too diffuse to make a nice, punchy story. As Wachter puts it: "They don't pack the same visceral wallop as wrong-site surgery."Finally, Wachter observes, it's hard to measure diagnostic errors. It's easy to get an audience's attention by telling it that "the average hospitalized patient experiences one medication error a day" or that "the average ICU patient has 1.7 errors per day in their care."But we don't have equally clean numbers on missed diagnoses. As a result, he points out, "it's difficult to convince policy makers and hospital executives, who are now obsessing about lowering the rates of hospital-acquired infections and falls" to focus on a problem that is much more difficult to tabulate.This is a recurring problem in programs that strive to improve the quality of care: We are mesmerized by the idea of "measuring" everything. Yet, too often, what is most important cannot be easily measured. Wacther recognizes the urgency of the problem: "As quality and safety movements gallop along, the need to" address diagnostic errors" grows more pressing," he writes. "Until we do, we will face a fundamental problem: A hospital can be seen as a high-quality organization -- receiving awards for being a stellar performer and oodles of cash from P4P programs -- if all of its 'pneumonia' patients receive the correct antibiotics, all its 'CHF' patients are prescribed ACE inhibitors, and all its 'MI' patients get aspirin and beta blockers."Even if every one of the diagnoses was wrong."Why so many errors?Medicine is shot through with uncertainty; diseases do not always present neatly, in textbook fashion, and every human body is unique.     Doctors are highly educated ...in having your body parts removed when not really necessary.. Yes Doctors are highly trained in killing one out of five patients.
    Most Doctors medicines give you side effects...most doctors medicines are tested on animals and some of the animals die or suffer from side effects.

    My Mothers Brother is a Doctor and I hate his Guts and do not associate with him ... He belongs to the system so he is part of the system

    Most Doctors are big time money swindlers who care more about making money then caring about you or your health

    In a system where the public has to pay for their own health care it is no wonder there is so much misdiagnosis.  People generally cannot afford to see several doctors for second opinions or further testing.

    Not to mention most diseases share symptoms.

      So true.  It is such a shame that we have to pay for the privilege to get healthcare, even if it is shoddy sometimes.  I do have to say that a lot of insurance companies are now requesting second opinions before approving operations and drastic procedures, but that is only good if the person can afford doctors or health insurance in the first place.  And lab testing is very pricey too if a person has no insurance, and the results are only as good as the doctor interppreting them.  Insurance companies make decisions all the time about people's health care as well, and for them it is about money, they could care less if John Doe lives or dies, it is about the money ultimately.
