As Bama the puppet claims he is the guy withdrawing troops from Afghanistan and as the US loses even more money because now projects in the outer reaches of the nation will be too dangerous to continue other nations who didn't fight, lose soldiers, etc. are beginning to reap the benefits from mineral exploitation -the real reason for the entire war. The same war Russia waged and lost -they couldn't get at the resources oil, gas, gold, lithium, copper.  China has set up shop drilling for oil where American and Allied troops got tortured and killed with the help of an American bank-American taxpayers have footed the multi-trillion dollar bill -the US government is truly rotten to the core

Already this summer, the China National Petroleum Corporation, in partnership with a company controlled by relatives of President Karzai, began pumping oil from the Amu Darya field in the north. An investment consortium arranged by JPMorgan Chase is mining gold. Another Chinese company is trying to develop a huge copper mine. Four copper and gold contracts are being tendered, and contracts for rare earth metals could be offered soon.

The truth is, as long as the Chinese and Russians are cut in on the deal, their objections to military actions that enrich oligarchs everywhere are likely to be muted.

Imperial militaries exist in large part to grab and hold resources vital to the continuance of empires, while their paymasters back home reap benefits. That includes the rest of us, who must balance the security and creature comforts this approach provides against the death and destruction it inevitably entails. And we can’t begin to do the moral calculus until we acknowledge what’s being done in our name around the world, and why.

After troops leave, U.S. to lose access to Afghan reconstruction projects worth billions

As coalition forces withdraw from Afghanistan, U.S.-funded reconstruction projects worth billions of dollars in far-flung regions of the country will soon be impossible for American officials to safely visit and directly inspect.

    A Third Way?

by MATTHEW CLAPP on SEPTEMBER 21, 2008

“While communism is the control of business by government, fascism is the control of government by business.” – Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Fascists opposed what they believed to be laissez-faire or quasi-laissez-faire economic policies dominant in the era prior to the Great Depression. People of many different political stripes blamed laissez-faire capitalism for the Great Depression, and fascists promoted their ideology as a “third way” between capitalism and Marxian socialism.

Their policies manifested as a radical extension of government control over the economy without wholesale expropriation of the means of production. Fascist governments nationalized some key industries, managed their currencies and made some massive state investments. They also introduced price controls, wage controls and other types of economic planning measures. Fascist governments instituted state-regulated allocation of resources, especially in the financial and raw materials sectors.

Other than nationalization of certain industries, private property was allowed, but property rights and private initiative were contingent upon service to the state. For example, “an owner of agricultural land may be compelled to raise wheat instead of sheep and employ more labor than he would find profitable.” According to historian Tibor Ivan Berend, dirigisme was an inherent aspect of fascist economies. The Labour Charter of 1927, promulgated by the Grand Council of Fascism, stated in article 7:

“The corporative State considers private initiative, in the field of production, as the most efficient and useful instrument of the Nation,” then goes on to say in article 9 that: “State intervention in economic production may take place only where private initiative is lacking or is insufficient, or when are at stakes the political interest of the State. This intervention may take the form of control, encouragement or direct management.

  • the 'collective' on a large scale was tried already-how many times in the last 100 years?-look at what the two biggest one party collectives ,china, russia, have become.  Two gangs using capital and crime to enrich themselves and their international masters-same old same old

  • sure now russia and china can get in with expenditure-just to keep quiet while the war went on- my point is this is the NWO, has been even when russia was in there prepared to exploit the resources-money or raw material would have found there way to the world markets where the global oligarchy would benefit

  • show me the someone in the US-the entire world is polluted by the drug cartels
