Welcome to Cube Land. Noah's Ark was a wooden cube called the Ark of Gilgamesh. The New Jerusalem is a Cube. The Cube is 3D Space-Time, in the case of the Kaaba it's the blackhole at the center of galaxies. If you orbit the Kaaba you are acting like a Star. The Egyptians believed you die and become stars. That's why the Bible presumes when the dead are resurrected the stars will all fall from heaven. Of course it's a lie.

But elswhere, the bible speaks in different language:
"The sky will recede like a scroll, every mountaing will flee from its place" revelation 6:14, Isaiah 34:4
Seems ludicrous picture of a dome shaped universe attatched to it are stars. But surprisingly, physicists seems to offer a closely similar model if you replace 'sky' with 'spacetime' the destruction of the universe as expressed in revelation above then sounds like the big rip or the big crunch in physical escatology. Farthermore, modern physicists are back to beleiving in a LITERAL dome shaped universe! The giant sheet enclosing the entire universe circumnavigating the event horizon is a 2d hologram projecting the 3d universe we see around. So yes, if the hologram recedes, the mountains and islands will indead recede as described in revelation!
