True Love speaks in tender tones and hears with gentle ear.
True Love gives with open heart and True Love conquers fear.
True Love makes no harsh demands---it neither rules nor binds; and True Love holds with gentle hands the Hearts that it entwines.
True Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but of looking together in the same direction.

This pretty much defines True Love for me. How about you?

The last statement is particularly interesting:
"True Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but of looking together in the same direction."
Yet, isn't it possible for anyone to be a dreamer/'romantic' and practical/pragmatic?... Perhaps when you're in True Love, you gaze at each other sometimes, and also look together in the same direction at other times.
My feeling today is that the only way I KNOW anything for sure is by experiencing......how else can we be completely sure whether something is true or false? While I KNOW there are many higher dimensions than this one and I feel that we Soul travel there, our bodies are in this dimension right now, so, we have to do the necessaries.....right? Our bodies need food, clothing and shelter, so, these "needs" have to be met. I think this was, basically, your point.....correct?
It's all about balance. If one is too much the dreamer/romantic, the physical suffers.....if one is too practical/pragmatic, one loses the connection to Spirit. Balance, balance, balance. Yes, it's kinda tricky.
And we're here on earth at this particular point in time to experience the full spectrum of life... so that when we reach the point of transformation to a higher level of existence, we can look back and say, "Been there, done that, and LOVED IT!"
Osho has said some very wise words IMO.
