It could be a scene from Orson Welles’ The War of the Worlds.
Residents of Las Vegas New Mexico fled their homes to catch a glimpse of a weird massive structured UFO looming over the horizon.
Since Las Vegas is not too far away from Roswell, some people suggested the aliens must have escaped from Roswell.
Though, Jorge Torres, chief meteorologist at KOB-TV, who received photos from the UFO and posted it on hisTwitter account, identified the flying saucer as a typically lenticular cloud which normally materializes above mountains but sometimes a lenticular cloud appears in flat open places like Las Vegas.
Despite Mr. Torrres’ explanation, there is strong evidence that UFOs do cloak themselves with clouds which they apparently generate.

KRISHNA: sorry, but I don't buy it. I've been to New Mexico many times and the cloud formations coming off of the Rocky Mountains are known to form spectacular formations that resemble objects that we like to BELIEVE are flying saucers or UFO phenomena. Also note that Roswell is on the south-eastern part of New Mexico, and Las Vegas is in the northern part of New Mexico.
THEY ARE NOT EXACTLY "close to each other" as you claim.
But bullsh!t aside, the photos are spectacular.

Yes it is a spectacular shot,and there are many other wonderful images of lenticular clouds in google search but this one below is cool..
