So KONGKA LA is the memorial name for a long gone potentate who ruled this area. It is a gateway. what l meant to say was that much of this literature has been known to different people at different times and contexts according to their capacity of knowing and holding such information. I myself got to know about the gyanganj place only two and a half years back, through a talk i had with a spiritual master here in the himalayan india. even i am a novice to the subject. :-))) was just sharing what i knew.

the books i am talking about are very old books published as early as the 1950's. And all these saints were very old even then. MH Gopinath Kaviraj ji who was the main disciple of Swami Vishuddhanand, has written several books in Hindi on this subject and there are many translations available of it.
I believe that when students are ready for it, then the universe provides them with the information in form of books, movies, masters and messengers. :-))

There are several books in Hindi (national language of India) that tell us about a spiritual place in the Himalayas called "GYANGANJ" literally meaning the "knowledge treasure" of course the knowledge here is in the context of spiritual knowledge. If you could ever get translations in English of any biographies of Swami Visshuddhananda Paramhansa... a lot about Shambhala and the sister city Gyanganj could be revealed to you.
Both these cities exist on the 5th dimension and are not seen by the human eye even though their geographical co-ordinates exist.
Swami Vishuddhanand Parmahansa was called the Scent swami, because he could use the Solar Science to manufacture any fragrance out of thin air. In his biography, he has described 5th dimensional monasteries in Tibet, where immortal saints as old as 2400 years stay and teach advanced techniques of meditation and universal sciences.

As far as he being a leader is concerned he will be a flop like the rest of the so called leaders as they do not have or apply Spiritual Knowledge or lead a Spiritual Life.
