One way to "decifer" whether anything we, or someone else, is saying or doing is "appropriate" for the "Spiritual Path" is to ask the question, "Is this, whatever it is, bringing me/us closer to Unity Consciousness, or towards more division?" Another question we can ask is, "Is this bringing me/us closer to a place of pure Love, or closer to a place where there is a lack of Love?" The ego-centered mind likes to have someone, or something else to blame, and the Love-centered mind does not want to blame anyone for anything. What do we wish to be a part of?... Unity or division?... Love or lack?Blessings...

“You have seen that the universe is at root a magical illusion and a fabulous game, and that there is no separate "you" to get something out of it, as if life were a bank to be robbed. The only real "you" is the one that comes and goes, manifests and withdraws itself eternally in and as every conscious being. For "you" is the universe looking at itself from billions of points of view, points that come and go so that the vision is forever new.”...“The art of living... is neither careless drifting on the one hand nor fearful clinging to the past on the other. It consists in being sensitive to each moment, in regarding it as utterly new and unique, in having the mind open and wholly receptive.” ~Alan Watts

    • Very well, Michael... you bring us all a little closer.
      Blessings...
  • Nice Feather... I agree with that statement...Love can also become greater, potentially, by "spreading itself around"....<3
  • Thank you for presenting another interesting perspective Mikeil.... I like how you make your points without attempting to make it personal... you show a good example of how to have an alternate viewpoint without being confrontational.

    Blessings...
  • So wonderful, Tally. Asking ourselves questions is one of the best ways to become self aware. If we would just take several minutes to ask ourselves a few question before we open our mouths to speak it would go a long way in preventing hurt feelings and misperceptions.

    • Yes, Avatar... the main reason I posted this is so that we will think about what the effects of our actions will be before we take them, so that we can avoid potential difficulties down the road.... and like you said, to help prevent unnecessary conflicts. We can "disagree without being disagreeable", as the saying goes. I don't think it needs to take several minutes... maybe only a few seconds of reflection time... but I don't mind rewriting a whole message if it doesn't settle well within.

      Thanks for the "worthy" contribution...
