I was suprised when I read the article on MSNBC, and it appears that Obama must know something - and I trust his judgement, it's pretty suprising that this is happening, at the same time China is pretty corrupt in many ways as far as their government goes.
To me it looks like its more of a support effort, from the U.S., not the U.S. taking over Australia.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's how I'm reading it.
