  THEY WERE SOLD INTO SLAVERY BY THEIR OWN BLACK PEOPLE....The kingdom of Benin, for example....
  Also, in east Africa, the Omanis were running their own massive slaving industry...A large fort can be visited, in Kenya, bearing this history of the slave trade.....In fact, General Gordon (of Khartoum) was heavily involved in fighting Sudanese slavery...The moslems killed him...

  Well, the geographical truism meant by that saying; "the sun never sets," was based upon it's vast coverage of all continents, east to west, so that there was always a part of it's expansive territories, upon which the sun was still shining, even if other parts might have been in night time..The territorial peak was 1921....
  
  I would say that it started to lose such a status, after WW2, when the Axis powers caused a massive military expenditure, bankrupting the empire...So after that war, territory was given up, with one independence after another...
  Shame we didn't go the way of Russia, by turning our Empire into a global Federation....The idea was popular, but never came about...But, the Commonwealth did....
  
  And the modern wokesters hate both the Commonwealth and Empire.....
  They also blame Britain, EXCLUSIVELY, for the trans-Atlantic slave trade...Even though the British were the first people in history, to ban slavery.....So by 1830, the Royal Navy patrolled the seas, stopping the trade's continuance, by other European powers, along with the United States....USA only banned the trade decades later...
  
  However, woke idiots still blame Britain for EVERYTHING WRONG.....
  Woke politicians in west Indian nations (Bahamas,) have "demanded" that the King pay them reparations for slavery....Truly absurd...
  
  Noting that ONLY Britain is condemned for it by the left and they never mention moden slavery in the middle east and China....

  It will never be possible for even the most zealous of historical revisionists, to "reset history," through such a method as using Google AI..Many, many people seek the truth that "white people" played a major role in actual history....Even if online censorship is organised by AI, people will still be able to go to local book stores and find truth....
  For example, I inherited from my Father several books, one of which he obtained from a second hand bookstore, and the book was titled: "The Outline of the World Today." Volume two...The British Empire...Edited by Sir Harry Johnson and Dr Haden Guest.
  The publisher seems to be in London: George Newnes Ltd...Circa 1922.
  
  It covers the entire Empire as it was, in 1922...And even has a pull out map, of the world, with large areas, totalling 13,356,800 square miles, of red-painted British territory, on five continents...(Actually six, if you include the Antarctic peninsular, near the Falkland islands.)
  Many photos and commentaries are made, which cover the entire Empire, which would probably drive the modern woke mind, totally insane, if it is not already...
  
  Same with many nations in Eastern Europe who suffered Soviet occupation, following WW2, but have nevertheless, revitalised their cultures and traditions, post communism....
  People never forget their past.....Families never forget their forefathers....History cannot truly be remade and history will always triumph over such attempts to erase it...
