but you have no more evidence that your belief of the identity of the gods is any more true than any other. You have some stories you read. You sound like a jew telling a christian their god is wrong, or a christian telling a muslim their god is wrong. its stupid because no one knows.
I always wondered about God talking about himself as we. That for me made me question a whole lot more. When the bible said that man was made in his image and I read the bible and learned that the God spoken of was a vengeful God who wanted absolute control and liked to punish and smight people, then I thought that God was not so great, and that we had been born into a bad situation, like we were being rode roughshot by a control freak and that did not seem loving to me. I began to see all the horror and suffering in the world and thought, no that is not love allowing that to happen if a God was really in control. The whole thing just felt so skewed to me. The bible talked a lot about love but when I read the old testament I thought that it did not seem very loving in nature, the relationship between God and mankind..I thought there had to be more. The more I studied the bible I got very suspicious like something was really really missing. The plot seemed so very human and so did God, and I was not at all comfortable with the version of God presented. It always seemed to me that we were being decieved and controlled. I think we are. I long to be spirit again.
