    DOH!?.................................I didn't see the WHOLE conversation, (Ann give me a clue girl as to what these subjects are about before I go in, lol)!? I read something about this in (Apacolypse 2012) if we're on the same subject matter? There a re a group of scientist the have a theory (It has to do with the fact that there is a universal collective, something nature taps into), well the theory goes that if one group of rats were taught a trick in one country that another group of rats would pick up on this and do the tricks even better than the previous group....even though the second batch of rats were nevershown the tricks and there was no interaction between the guys who taught the first group and the guys who are teaching the second group, so on and so forth?
    
    Is this what we are discussing here?
    
    I think (if I'm reading this right?) that you guys think that if a group of people get together nd send out positive vibes you can affect the vibes of the whole? Is that what we're getting at here?

          This thread is not about the 100 monkeys, children. It is about celebrating the Beautiful Light of Unity that will be passing over us on the 17th and 18th!

  Gariga, u are right at your saying, but again, im not talking about giving proof to paranormal phenomena, by the scientific organs....because this is not possible of course...
  
  im talking about the fact (as they finally admitted) that there was never a proffable test done in monkeys which showed that the community of monkeys suddenly started to wash their potatoes in the sea,
  just because a certain amount of monkeys did this, in another place...
  
  if this was true, then i should have been believing in religion, or what the governments of the world are saying and go to vote for them.... just because the vast majority of the people do this (and for sure they have reached the so-called 100th monkey long ago), it doesnt mean that it affects my consciousness too...

    the thing about the 100th monkey is that, lets say that we are a community of 100 people and we all
    eat our bananas whole without peeling them, and 1 person somehow finds out that if he peel the banana, then it tastes better...so he adopts this action...at first maybe the others wont even bother looking at him...
    but after a while a friend of him tries it also...and he likes to too...and continue to do it also...
    
    ...and slowly more people decide to do this also...until they reach a point of a certain amount of people...
    maybe 15-20 people... then all the others see that these people are more happy when they eat their bananas peeled, and thus they all decide to try it too...
    this 15-20 or so people, are the "Critical Mass" that is needed to change the behavior or the rest of the population....but this is not the 100th monkey effect...

  ...but about the 100th monkey effect, im afraid that it is proved now,
  that finally this story had no basis in real evidence...
  too bad, and i was i huge supporter of this story too, in previous times...
