What do you LOVE about Humanity???

Hello to ALL :)
I was sat here thinking about being Human, about Humanity in general infact. Agreed, to be living in these times is somewhat of a double-edged sword at times. That said...being alive today is really a wonderous affair. In another time and space I expect we'll be looking at the challenges and joys we encountered on Earth with a tear of fondness in our hearts. So my question is...what do you love about Humanity? What aspects bring a smile to your face or a tear to the eye. For me, it's the capacity of 'stupidness'(or sillyness) that can be afforded to the Human condition :) I mean that in a lightheartedly and loving way...so please don't get it twisted! ;)

I myself am not immune from the dizziest of behaviours. For instance...one of my favs is when I'm walking down the street minding my own business, and I may spot an attractive lady in the distance. My poise straigntens up, chest out, and I start strutting my stuff like I'm Huggy from Starsky & Hutch. I get in smiling distance of said attractive lady just about to elicit my super-duper-loved-up-energy-gaze when....TRIP...the pavement dips(or other!) and said plan goes wrong. Thus I stumble to catch my balance looking like a right muppet. The amount of times this has happened is unreal, but still...I choose not to learn ;) As I continue walking, a slight grin always emerges over my face, and I can feel a group of Angels having a giggle over head. Another cosmic slap to keep ego me in check eh....gotta love it!

ps: before anyone starts...no Ninjas were harmed in the making of this video ;)

So...what do you love about Humanity???

Regarding Humans when His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupadha visited the western world he commented: Most of them are more like cats and dogs with no God Consciousness in them, no desire for soul evolution and no knowledge that your real purpose in life is to go back to Godhead. Fortunately ascension time is here now and some will transform.
Srila Prabhupadha was one of the greatest Spiritual Master. He opened 108 Temples, Govinda restaurants and travelled 8 times around the world preaching the Vedas and translating them for all to read. His accomplishments during his lifetime are those of a Super Soul.

  • 'swishyness'...I like that! :)
  • You just made me laugh....thanks! :)
  • Agreed James, the shining/sharing of OnesSelf is a gorgeous thing :) I have a game called 'Love-Tram', when I'm on the tram (and in rememberance mode) I take in a glowing energy from up and from below, and then transmit from the heart outwards. I imagine all the people in a new environment, a lighter environment...is quite interesting to see the results ;) And agreed..."wonder if they can cook a nice dinner" is now on the list! ;)
  • Ez there Peekie ;) And yep, feeling free to be is defo a beautiful thing. Always find children the best audience for my unmanged untamed nuttiness! :)
  • What I love about us humans is that we are able to change... our MIND/s and though most people do not like it, we are able to deal with a whole heap of change all at once...amazing... and some of us can even continue to smile through the experience...amazing..:)..:)..

I love our capacity to show compassion and utter disregard for our self and not give it a second to consider, but throw ourselves into the wildest river, the most dangerous situations, to rescue someone (maybe at that unthinking moment we instinctively know that person is a part of ourselves)....

I think humans are magic creatures..:).... They have immense strength and courage and love and an amazing capacity to forgive....to start afresh, we are magicians...:)..
We are truly of the Light, just not every one has 'got' it yet.

    Peace to us all!
....thinking about the good things we humans do and accomplish... and how so many spend their lives with the conviction to improving other's conditions from health to technology...one can be busy thinking like that for a long time and it feels really positive and healing and affirming our oneness.... just the good things.......we are truly worth it!!
    • Yep, am in agreement Meg...definitely beautiful :)

    • Hello there Cappie ;) Am warming to the fact that in this journey I'm riding solo. That said...never say never! :)
  • I am like you in some respects. The only difference is when i am walking down the street minding my own business, the attractive ladies looking at me trip and fall over.
