what is spiritual?

It is fatal to our time to come and discuss when we don't seem to know what is at the centre of the table. It is like some people around the table, ready for a feasting ceremony but with no food on the table.When I visited this site two years ago, I liked it because Ben Arion was emphatic on discussions, blogs and postings being SPIRITUAL. However, I didn't find anywhere wherein he said unambigously what he means by 'spiritual'. But I guessed it from the title of the website and the nature of discussions at then. I found that this site understood 'spiritual' the way I do! Not anymore!!Needless to say, when you ask new agers what they mean by 'spiritual', they release a kick back card; do define it for urself. If you are such a person who will come here to offer such a non answer, then donnot comment on this thread. I want to hear what YOU understand by spiritual, not what I understand by it. Do you think I am a nincompoop to ask YOU something about what I MYSELF mean???We cannot rely much on dictionaries because they seem to merely list various usage of a word. However, I did found that most of what is in dictionaries is exactly how I understood the words 'spiritual' and 'spirituality'.The question that I am kin to observe is whether the term 'spirit' resorts to an ENTITY or an ABSTRACT CONCEPT. If it is the latter, I have virtualy no interest with such and my comming to this site was thus a great lose to me!But people us the terms spirit, spiritual and spirituality is such a way that you don't get what they are riferring to from the context. Are they talking of thoughts, ideas, feelings, personal experiences, values, attitudes and ethics??? Why relable these words with a word that resort to a well defined concept and mislead other people searching for their truths? It is in the same way they relable subjective experiences as 'energy' and 'vibrations'Dictionary defines it very well;SPIRITUALITY: a) Concern for that which is UNSEEN and INTANGIBLE as opposed to PHYSICAL. Here, there is no relevance of PERSONAL EXPERIENCE, beleif, feelings or thoughts. Just the ATTITUDE of being concern is enough. I have never PERSONALY seen UFO, never FELT one, touched one etc but my mere CONCERN about it is enough to put my post as part of SPIRITUALITY.b)the act of being SPIRITUALSPIRITUAL: Relating to, consisting of or affecting the SPIRIT.SPIRIT:a)incorporeal or immaterial in natureb)The principle animating the body or mediating between the body and the soul.c)The incoporeal part of a leaving being.d)The soul regarded as seperate from the body.e)Supernatural being or essencef)A being that is bodiless but can become visibleg)The liquid containing ethanol and water.Those meanings of 'spirit' are very unambiguous. They clearly resort to ENTITY and not a mere ATTITUDE.I got it because my most favourite definition of spirit is clear and unambiguous f; a BEING that is bodiless but can become visible. A spirit is a BEING and not a CONCEPT. I am spiritual in that I am deeply concerned with such beings. Looking at the title of the website, it is written; ASHTAR COMMAND, which is said to be an unseen, supernatural BEING. So I was not off. Also, for starseeds to be they must have SOULS. Back then, I thought that light workers were beings of light flashing back and forth doing some supernatural work, only to be told that they resort to just an abstract concept, a pipe dream!It is quite clear why new agers wanna redefine 'spirit' desperate for PROVE of the unseen world, they wanted to condition people into identifying some SUBJECTIVE EXPERIENCES, such as 'love' with SPIRIT. With time every invisible FEELING have come to be called 'spiritual' and spirituality has lost its original meaning. It now resort to what better be termed psychology, sociology, ethics or even psychiatry.It is expressed well when this site turns in of socio-economic, political and ethics that are purely HUMANISTIC and infact has nothing to do with SPIRITUALITY at all! At least not in a site dedicated to spirituality cause there are sites for politics, economics, sociology, ethics, morality, psychology, psychiatry etc. Here you will better opinions by experts.Pay close attention to ETHICS cause this is what has led this site astray! I cannot bring here a topic in PHYSICS unless it has relevance to an UNSEEN world. Likewise, ETHICS is irrelevant HERE unless it is connected to the unseen world.

~For me, Spirituality is like seeking an answer to an undefinable question. It's the active path toward my reunification with my Higher-Self... with Unity-Consciousness. It's been summed up in infinite ways, but I've found the notion that 'We are ALL Spiritual Beings having a Human Experience' to be a meaningful clue to what's truly playing out behind the fading veils of duality. Spirituality is a mixture of abstract concepts/ideas. It is impossible to clearly define that which is intangible.
