What is suffering?

Complex ---everyone has it .

We all know what it is.

And there is nothing we can do about it.

Its the way life is.

Why waste energy complaining about it?

Its inevitable... But we arbitrarily think of a them---

THEM someone else is the cause of suffering

They have done this to me ---us

its them-- the government the aliens someone else.......

never realizing that the root of suffering is the very fact of your presence on the physical plane of consciousness.

Now if its true we made a contract to elect to be here at this time,,

then it me. the very self...my own being which is the cause of my own demise..

The physical body -- physical suffering

The emotional body-- emotional mental suffering

The spiritual body--- spiritual suffering..

Why do we live in the very bodies that ulitmately cause our grief?

Why does it seem good people suffer?

Suffering comes to all beings good and bad.

In fact it almost seems that the good do the most suffering.

  • You are doing it so right.......

  • The only universe that truly concerns me is the one I have direct influence over. the one that is a part of my reality.

and I focus on honing it.  and expanding it. So that it is at its best when it interacts with the universe I have no direct influence over.

    stay tuned on the levitation.

it is my intention to write a discussion on it.

  • I look at good and evil from the perspective of varying levels of appropriatnes.

It allows for more flexibility and discernment.

  • It is in the overcoming of the suffering where the magic happens.

  • when did you first hallucinate there is such a thing as control.

the only thing I aspire to control is my perspective on my universe.

and I leave the universe to do the same.

and we meet somewhere in the middle.

  • I do not have a concept of good or bad. beyond having feelings I enjoy or don't.

I understand that good and bad is a creation of perspective. It changes relative to time and space.

A little over a hundred years ago the genocide of the last pure blood aboriginals in Port arthur, Tasmania was considerded acceptable.

In the mid nineties a man went on a shooting spree in the same town, killing 14 people. and that was considered mas murder.

We are all masters. we all have our own unique gifts. Encoded within our dna. waiting for us to take the steps that will unlock them. These steps are simple. face your fears, work through the suffering. face your fears, work through the suffering. face your fears, work through the suffering.

Fear is the cork of mastery. suffering is the energy that holds the cork in place. faith is the energy that overcomes suffering. If this be true, and my own experience of life makes it true for me at least, there is no amount of suffering that faith cannot overcome. Because no matter how bad things get, if you have faith that it can be overcome, and you have testicular fortitude to do the work, you will overcome it.

So maybe love on its own is not the answer.

perhaps it needs to be adjusted to conviction in love is the answer.

  • You change. and the universe is compelled to accommodate those changes.

If it matters, you keep going until  you get the result you are after.

    if not, you give up.

You don't change for the system's benefit. Or for anyone else's for that matter.

Because you won't. Because when it all comes down to it, we are fundamentally service to self.

We all play the service to others card so well. Until our backs are up against the wall. and then the law of the jungle sets in, And we do whatever it is that we have to do to survive,

You change because you've arrived at a point in your life where you say "I change or take myself out. I refuse to live like this anymore". That is suffering. Irrespective of your circumstance. You are making a decision that will end the suffering. Either one is better than the circumstance you are in now. This is when the victim becomes accountable.

If you choose to change, the suffering takes on a whole new meaning. Because you have made a decision that you can overcome the suffering. Otherwise you'd be dead.

Purpose is the state of mind that transmutes the pain of suffering into the energy that drives you to overcome the pain.

  • What really is the experience for suffering?-- Is it an individual opinion?

Because for some people what  might be suffering for one is not so bad or even pleasure for another.

    Look at the Camel --

he chews this very thory branch of a tree. Why?

Because when he chews it makes his tongue bleed

and he likes the taste of blood.8114563676?profile=original

    • spanking.jpg

      • And herein lies the answer

The BDSM scene has long understood the transmutable nature of pain.

Pain in this realm has a purpose. and so it is welcomed.
