What Is Youth? What Is Old Age?

This is a topic I've been meaning to bring to the forum for discussion for some time, and Ben's post showing the picture of the "old/young" woman caused me to start this thread, and I would Love to hear your thoughts and feelings about the subject.

It has occurred to me (and I believe it to be True) that this is also how one perceives another. For example, I've seen what I consider to be very old, or very wise Souls in some very young bodies, and I've seen what I consider to be very young, or unevolved Souls in very "old" bodies. And then, again, there are some of us who are "forever young", yet very wise, old Souls in either very old or young bodies.

It's such a common 3D practice to make an observation that while a person occupies an "old" body that they are on their way out, possibly have an inactive mind or Alzheimer's, and the opposite case would be to assume that because a Soul occupies a very young body that they don't know anything and need to be "conditioned", or taught right/wrong to be able to survive on this planet.

I hope I am making my thoughts clear on this. Some things that I observe are felt so deeply that it is difficult for me to find the semantics that describe how I feel and think about a topic.

Nevertheless, I would Love to hear your thoughts on the subject. Thank you in advance for your responses.

It is the adult mind in me that doubts but there is also an innocence within me that knows how to trust my Higher Power, to cherish life while holding it lightly, to live in the present moment. It's this part that nourishes me as I continue on this journey.

Wisdom doesn't automatically come with old age...my young grandson comes out with such wise words at times.

Our souls are healed when we are in the presence of innocent children as they remind us of how we are meant to be but no longer are.....I guess the trick is grow up without growing old and I sometimes think that old age related illnesses happen because at some level the human condition expects it.

Old is the person who lacks of energy...while Young is the one who have lots....
..now, there is also mature way of thinking...and infant way of thinking...
..but this is another story... ;)

      ...we see it even in objects....if u dont use something enough...after a time they become stuck..and rusty...
