 I don't believe it's very far from the truth to say that if you are someone who works the light in any manner, your family is where you need to work your light the most. Family can be difficult if you're 'different". It is no easy task, believing  that the God you pray to exists inside of you. When everyone around you tells you otherwise. It makes you different.  Irrespective of what anyone says, everyone cares about the concept of God. It is something innate in all of us. Where do we come from. where are we going? Is there more than just this existence? Who AM I? What AM I meant to be doing. Everyone, at some level, asks these questions.

 These are all concepts that God deals with. They are also questions about our own personal unknown.

So maybe then God is just a metaphor for the great personal unknown. If that be the case, there is potential for much disharmony in the world of one that works the light. If you believe God is on the outside, the potential unknown is quite frankly, the entire universe. If you believe that God is on the inside, then all you have to do to discover God, is get to know yourself. Once you've discovered the God in you, you have a confidence in how you go about exploring God outside you.  

 Obviously someone has thought about this because mainstream religion has been exploiting this principle for almost 2000 years.And it has worked. In your darkest moments, when you are praying for God to save you, If he can't hear you because you believe God is on the outside? You'll go to church so that he can hear you.

 When you are holding a light around family, or to a lesser extent, anyone else, you are holding up a mirror of God inside for that person. And it is confronting. Because it goes against their fundamental belief of God is outside. And if they don't like themselves, it opens up a pandoras box for abusive behaviour. Babies and small children hold the brightest light of all. A child exposes any darkness their parents have. So when the parent looks at their child, They see their darkness. And they can't help it.

  So then, perhaps, as light workers, it's time we redefined our concept of family and spirituality. Over he last few days, I have felt the love of family that I have been missing all my life. From people that I will probably never meet. and it doesn't matter to me. Because I feel their genuine care for me. And that is what family means to me. And the only thing we have in common is that we believe God exists inside us.

 Maybe a more appropriate term for light workers  is Family. Where God is inside. And we do what comes naturally. We love each other.
