What cheer's you up and makes you happy?
What fills your little heart with joy?
What makes you giggle?
In this crazy world, with all that is going on, what makes you smile?
For me, it is being in nature, watching and listening to the birds sing, watching them fly,
Playing with my cat, listening to him purr,
Watching my daughter be happy and hearing her laugh.
Being silly with my friends in work.
Sometimes its good to forget about all this stuff and nonsense and take a break, sometimes its good to laugh and just be yourself.
So what makes YOU happy? :)

making sense. cheap coffee. art. being able to be really really cool somtimes. . also once and a while dancing like a random nut infront of a good friend of mine, in the middle of a busy sidewalk. . (before coffee)
Are you trying to get me to say that I'm a "big chocolate slut"? I LOVE chocolate!!!
There was this one time that I tried an all chocolate diet for as long as I could...9 days on chocolate.
It was some of the happiest moments... except for when it came to bathroom time... which became interesting very quickly...

Consciously breathing my way to the "now" which therefore brings me "happiness" or more like at peace with myself and the universe.
...Doesn't that burn like hell? ...I'm picturing iced, which may or may not be any better... Is there a certain kind of coffee that's better than another? I'm just imagining the Starbuck's bill...
What a wonderful post. It is really easy to say what makes us unhappy, but thinking about what makes us happy I had to pause a bit to really think about it. I think that thing that makes me the happiest is being around children. That makes my soul soar. There innocense and sense always amazes me.
Another thing that makes me really happy is so silly really. I sit on my lanai (screened in porch) and watch the little geikos run up and down on my screens, lol and I just love doing that, it is so relaxing and fascinating. Sometimes one will be on one side of the screen and one on the other side and they have races. so cute, I just adore them. They are so weird that they are cute. I also love watching fish swim around too, I could do that for hours.
Another thing I really love is to just float for hours in my pool under the sun or the clouds with a gentle breeze caressing my wet skin, and I just float and meditate and enjoy the wonderful outdoor while I have beautiful music playing softly in the background., and I especially love swimming at nighttime and looking up at the moon and stars, it so breathtaking, and all my troubles seen to disappear.
My roomate makes me very happy. We have known each other and been best friends with each other since 1968 and we know each others quirks so well and we fit together like a pair of matched shoes.
Participating in web groups like this one makes me happy too, even when the seas get rough with turmoil. It still makes me happy that wonderful caring friends are just a keystroke away. That makes me happy.The list of what makes me happy is growing in my mind at an alarming rate. Guess things are not all that bad after all, it is just that things we don't love are louder than what we do love sometimes.
Well alot of things make me happy. Singing makes me happy, and being musical and rhythmic in general. That's part of my soul make up, I believe....I couldn't imagine life without music. I love putting on a show and entertaining people..I think I'm a natural showman. I love seeing little children frolic around...the purity, the innocence, the joy, the wonder...they're just naturally themselves, and it's a sweet thing...it always makes me happy when I'm around children. I love a good laugh...a good adventure....I love traveling and exploring....I used to really love sports and athletics, not so much now but it's still fun. Having simple innocent fun makes me happy. I love making peoples day brighter, in whatever way that happens...I love making other people happy. Alot of simple things really. Well you know what they say, it's the simple things that make up life.
