I'm pretty sure true ascension happens at death. Because supposedly, when you ascend... you can do magic... oooooo, ahhhhhh.... do you see anyone going around levitating and acting like xmen? No. The closest to this would be magicians... but I bet you can have all the magic you can imagine once you're dead and in the afterlife... the afterlife is the thought realm after all, according to how I feel about it.
However, there are people going around claiming to be ascended and they look no different than anyone else. They still exist in this physical "dimension" and still have to live with Earth's natural rules of things. If they cross the street without looking, and a car is passing... that car is still going to hit them... if they were really ascended... they could just fly over the car supposedly. Or maybe they'd be able to "think the car to stop"? Actually, that's a good question. What does an ascended person do when they're about to be hit by a car and they only have 1 second to react? I don't know, why not find someone ascended, ask them this question. If they agree to test it out, you're probably going to see someone who wins yet another darwin award.
Do you really *want* to see people from the internet who have nothing better to do all day than obsess about ascension and cabal and aliens... to go around with magic powers (google ascension abilities)? Imagine the comic book guy from the simpsons, do you want someone like HIM to have magic powers? Regardless, that's not going to happen. It's a fairy tale. I don't mean to come on here and be a debbie downer about it, I'm just pointing out common sensical things. And against my better judgement, I'm going to admit that I am able to talk to my spirit guide. We talk every day as if he was another roommate (as crazy as it may sound)... and I've come up with a system to understand when he says yes or no. This doesn't mean I take everything he says as the absolute truth either. Just because I'm fascinated with being able to speak to someone from the spirit world/afterlife... doesn't mean I'm going to start worshipping them. Because I see him as just another guy, like you or me... with the exception that he's connected with the Truth, and that he was loving enough to agree to be my spirit guide (I think he got the shit end of the stick because I am quite a handful lol). I'm not going to pretend he knows everything either. We seem to exist forever after death so if he knew everything about everything, then what the hell will he do with his free time if he ever gets bored (reincarnate I guess)? What is there to learn if he already knows everything? Ya know? So when I do ask him about something, and he answers... I don't automatically act like a 'yes man'... I do my own contemplation... sometimes I try to debate it out with him.
This whole ascension thing is a fad. Sure it'll help some people learn forgiveness and compassion because they think it might be part of the process, and those are good things to learn and practice anyways... but if you think you're going to walk around and exist in this physical world the same way or close to the way we exist in the afterlife.... you're going to be waiting for the rest of your life. Because if people starting existing on Earth the way we exist in the afterlife... that's like giving a big, royal "F you!" to people who still want to reincarnate in a "normal world." And if you think there's some "parallel Earth" waiting for those who are ascended... guess what, that's the afterlife!
Now don't get the wrong idea. If people reading this think, "wah, my life sucks. why don't I just kill myself and ascend?"... first of all, don't be an idiot and kill yourself because that's not at all what I'm trying to express. And if someone does this, and builds anger or resentment towards me in the afterlife because they read it from my words, well first of all they have to wait til I die before they can give me a piece of their mind... but second of all, I don't want to hear it, because I already said not to do this.
Ask yourself, "what is ascension?" If you find someone else telling you what ascension is supposed to be, question their sources. Sure you can google "what is ascension", but all you're going to get is someone else's interpretation. Listen to your heart, and find out what makes sense to you. You were born with the Truth inside of you. We all were. Only when you're ready to know about it, will it reveal itself to you... if you're even meant to know the Truth in this incarnation anyways. Because when you think about it, if we exist forever... that's a really long time. When you imagine this eternity in the afterlife... that's a really long time existing in the Truth... what's the point of bringing this truth with you, into your awareness... for each and every incarnation? That sounds mighty exhausting, and repetitive.

Dude, I hear the music. If I told you what has been happening to me since March, you'd think I'd gone crazy if you didn't have an open mind. Hell, I thought I might be crazy until I had my spirit guide confirm real things, like giving me a random stranger's name/number to call to give a message to from their deceased loved one.
I've seen/heard/experienced things that most people would call "insane". I get premonitions in my dreams, deja vu's dailies (but without the "why" feeling... because I remember the dream that showed me the deja vu event before it happened). I've played with "thoughts are things" and "thoughts create your reality" and almost scared myself with it, until I turned it off, well.. the immediate manifestations at least (oh my god, Earth's rules exist for a reason! mmkay)
I more than anyone, would love for people to pop into light bodies and play with magic or in other dimensions... but I know this is just a fantasy (unless you count that people are already doing this in their dreamworlds!). A fantasy that can become real once you die.

why it can be true for another speicie to evolve when they no longer need there body's

Yes I believe in Angels. Do I understand their origins? No. It's possible that Angels never evolved, but were created the way they are, magic and everything from the getgo and still going, so they can maintain the afterlife... or something. That's not fact, just a possibility. I also understand there's a possibility that some humans might evolve into angels, but I still think there are still Angels that have never incarnated, and do not desire to because they have a different purpose.
Do I believe in beings from other planets? I bet it's possible. Do I think they're here helping us? Not really. Why? Because they probably have their own planet problems to deal with. How can they even relate to ours unless they've incarnated here before? And if they have, they would know that they'll probably have an easier time displaying themselves as human, than alien. Or as angel, than alien.
Yes, we are a spiritual being, in a human body. When we die, we're just a spiritual being, in a spiritual body. What's the point of doing this during our physical incarnation, when this is more than likely our existence in the afterlife? Why incarnate at all if we make Earth an exact copy of the afterlife/heaven?
We get out of the "car" all the time in our sleep. OBE's, astral, etc. We have our "ascension abilities" in our dreams.
I think before we can "evolve to fly" (if that ever happens)... the next step in human evolution would be, well.. first of all.. enhanced intelligence, but then telepathy. But before we can get telepathy, humankind needs an integrity overhaul, because the thought of telepathy existing for most people might scare them (although it wouldn't if they were living in integrity =P)
Caterpillar to butterfly. Don't we do this similarly in the womb? We start off with a tail or something, then it falls off and we keep evolving until we're this little person.
I'm saying man, I would *love* for the magical side of ascension to be real. I just don't see it's purpose. I mean I'm telling you, in my thoughts and prayers, I'm hoping real hard for this to happen. I'm just as sick and tired of the shit going on, on Earth (that's beyond my control), as the rest of us. It's not that I have a hard time. My mind is actually pretty spongy and I take into considerations everyone's views. A lot of the time you see me saying, "I feel" and "I think" and "it's possible". A lot of time you see me asking questions. A lot of questions. I was told at a very young age, that when I don't understand something, ask questions... so I do. I also think it's possible that even conflicting point of views can both be true, because I don't know if there's one definitive afterlife, or if it's made up of everyone's own version of it.. or something of the like.
But you're right, we're all going to know one day.
