Beginning on Jan. 1, prostitution by minors will be legal in California. Yes, you read that right.
SB 1322 bars law enforcement from arresting sex workers who are under the age of 18 for soliciting or engaging in prostitution, or loitering with the intent to do so. So teenage girls (and boys) in California will soon be free to have sex in exchange for money without fear of arrest or prosecution.

Maybe you should look at the law a little closer before spinning it the way you are. The law prevents children "under 18" who are into prostitution from being prosecuted and being put into the "For Profit" prisons that conservatives have made major money off of in the last 20 years.
If you are 17 and selling your body, isn't it better to get them help rather than locking them up? If you do the research in any other country it works way better than imprisoning people.
