When is one ready to channel? What are ways to work more specifically on channeling?

Im new to this site, but like many of you i do have some prior knowledge of these topics, i guess now i am just trying to clarify some of the things I have learned and to learn more. Today and this week i would like to get more information specifically regarding the path to being a channel. My twin and i have always felt like we were supposed to become greater than ourselves in this lifetime and maybe help the world in some significant way moreso than the average joe. I couldnt tell you specifically what my twin's and i's purpose is, but it feels like we connect to universe easier than most ppl we've met in our life(including family). We arent sure what we are supposed to do, but we know we want to spread love and truth(and to paint and tattoo) to the world.Any way that is why i ask these questionsand i hope someone can help my path towards understanding1. Is everyone able to channel? or is it an attribute that only a few are able to wield(like a superpower), and if so can other humans do other things?(telepathy,flight etc.),2. I know that to become a channel you must first cleanse your physical as well as your emotional bodies. One a physical level what denotes a clean body? Is every drug, even in small and moderate amounts, bad for channeling/general ascension? and i mean every drug(ibuprofren,aspirin, caffiene, thc, hallucigens dmt)3.On the emotional side of things, the more i read what feels like true information, the more i feel like we are not meant to be perfect, but can achieve amazing things. How do you know when your mistakes are disciplined or undisciplined? ( im having a hard time articulation this question)4. On the path to becoming a channel/ general ascension is meant to just go with the flow of your life, or should you take a more direct and more studied/explored approach? Simpler, do you focus on it or let the path unfold and just ride it.5. I know that we are always to give love, however when we meet a dark entity wrapped around a fascade of love, how do we keep them from influencing our path negatively especially if it is a close friend or relative, someone who may be present in the entirety of your life(mother,son, etc.)Any way i know that was alot for now, i do have many questions, i just want to know truth and loveand i am new so if you feel compelled to talk to anyone im always in the mood to discuss.Amor y PazOscar

I have also channelled into other people's bodies (but not on earth) I can only share the things I learned and hope it may help, although you should be aware that everyone's journey is different.

I am reading from your message that you are referring to channelling beings and energy that is "outside" of you, but as others have said, there is also the channelling of one's Higher Self or Godhood which is part of the merging process known as Ascension. That part will just happen naturally as you progress.

First and foremost you have to be clear on what kind of vibration / energy or being you wish to connect with. Usually channels have made an agreement before the present lifetime with a being or group of beings to act as a communication link for them whilst on earth. They will have known each other in previous incarnations. The channel will become conscious of this when certain things lead them in the direction of the process of channelling and the path of spiritual growth. It may be just a feeling or impulse, or come through as dreams or visions.

So if you are not aware of someone or something already contacting you and asking you to act as a communicator, then you have to put your clear intention out to the universe and ask for the energy you wish to attract. You also have to be clear on your intention for channelling. In your case, I am sensing it is to help others - so you will attract beings who share your goal. If someone wanted to channel for recognition or to be important or worshipped, they would then attract beings who also want to be worshipped. That is how it works.

You will generally attract a being whose energy resonates with yours. In other words, they will share some common ground with you and will be able to connect with you on a deep love vibration level. This kind of connectedness and resonance makes it easier to work together and it makes it easier for them to sit in your body and be in your energy for any length of time.

Essentially, if you do not feel a love vibration and feel uplifted by the contact (not drained, worried, anxious or depressed), then you are dealing with an energy or entity that does not share your goal and is not there for your highest good.

Yes, you do need to alter your lifestyle, if you have not done so. Remember your body will act as a vessel for energy of a high vibration, so to hold that vibration for any length of time, your body will have to be healthy, strong and in a reasonable state of balance. A healthy diet comprised of lots of fresh vegetables and fruit, proteins, legumes, pulses - foods that have been in the earth and contain high levels of Life Force (meat lowers your vibration because it has no Life Force). You should not smoke nor take alcohol for several hours before channelling. A channel should never take any form of narcotic - since those are mind-altering and will lower all your natural sheilds and defenses and could allow "rogue" entities to interfere with your energy or even enter your body.

To channel is not an easy path because in some ways, agreeing to become a communicator or channel means that you will be under a lot of scrutiny and will be expected to know everything and be beyond making mistakes yourself. Others will assume that because you have the "inside information" that you have all your decisions made for you and that you receive guidance in every situation. Nothing could be further from the truth however, since a communicator or channel agrees to undertake many personal lessons which can only be obtained through the experience of channelling, and some of these are very challenging. Much of it is centered around the idea of becoming strong in your truth and light and also learning to put aside ego and preconceived ideas so that what you channel remains true and as pure as possible.

You will have to move through your life lessons regardless of what you may be in contact with, because no true guide or teacher will interfere with your personal growth. They will support you and help you through giving you their love and healing, and sometimes advice - but that is all. Of course, you can chose to remain conscious when you channel and that way you can also learn from what is communicated. Or you can ask to have the information remain in your consciousness for a time so you can filter through it and take from it what is useful to you. Some channels choose to go out of body completely and remain unconscious of what transpires because they find that easier.

Whatever (or whomever) is channelled must come through your "filter system" which is your ego, personal belief system and logical mind. There is a great capacity for the information to be altered by you if you do not learn to discipline and focus your mind and thoughts.

So it is recommended that you use the discipline of meditation to relax your body, focus your mind, and practice letting your energy "expand" out of your body so that you allow for another energy or entity to come through it.

When you first channel, it is more likely the being channelling through will only put their energy as far as your throat, since this is what is used for communication. The eyes remain closed and your body is in a deep trance state. If they do this, your hands and feet will get really cold, so make sure you are in a warm room and have warm clothing on. This is what is known as "trance channelling". Then there is the method whereby you will leave your body and the being will inhabit your entire body - the eyes will be open and they will have full use of your form. That is called "Full Body Channelling". Depending on how experienced the person coming through is, the speech will be difficult at first (especially if the being is not from earth and finds verbal speech challenging). They will only be able to sit in your body for a few minutes to start with, and the time will get longer as you both get more accustomed to it. You may find you have a sore throat at first, as the being channelling through has to "tone down" their energy so that it is not out of sinc with your body's natural rhythms.

Some other physical symptoms you may have (but not necessarily) are: dizzyness and disorientation, slight nausea, pressure in the head (especially forehead), shortness of breath and heart palpitations. This is only while you and your body adjusts to the different energy which is of a higher vibration than you are used to. These symptoms should pass after a while until you don't get them at all.

The best way to start with channelling exercises is to preferably be in a quiet place where you won't be disturbed. Sit with your partner as a support, and also they can lend their energy to help stabilize you. Have a tape recorder and /or a paper and pen with you so that you can record what comes through (or your partner can do this). Just practice writing down the first things that pop into your mind when you ask for communication. Once you get comfortable with this, you can practice entering a trance state and letting your guide / teacher come into your body. Have the tape recorder ready to record what they say so you can listen back to it.

Protecting your energy when you are channelling is important, since there are a lot of beings out there who would interfere in a negative way if you gave them the opportunity. Your best protection (and the most powerful) is having your own vibration high enough that you will not attract such energies (or it will repel them) and knowing that you cannot be harmed unless you allow it. Also you can visualize placing white and violet energy around your entire body and aura.
