This is a very intersting (18 minute) talk by William Ury on the secret to peace. He says that the secret to peace is the third side. What this means, is that there must be a non-invested third party present to remind the other two parties what is at stake. He also says that this path we walk is not all about peace and light, there are always some conflicts to be resolved. It is a matter of analyzing how we deal with our differences.
He met with bushmen, who - when having severe disagreements, always sit in a circle, and talk things out until a resolution is found. No one can go to sleep until this is accomplished.
He also talks about the interconnectedness of all things, as well as the antidote to terrorism. He asks us if we have ever been in a strange neighborhood, and befriended by someone we had never met before. We can change the way we see things.
At the end of his talk, he says, "When spiderwebs unite, they can halt even the lion..

Very interesting, Peekay
There is the reverse vector to this which I have observed. When a conflict between 2 parties exists for a long time with no resolution, look for a 3rd party unobserved who profits by the conflict and who covertly keeps the conflict from resolving.
A good example of this would be a munitions manufacturer supplying both side with armaments.
You can probably observe less subtle "third parties."
There seems to be an ongoing battle right now between those who respect and encourage free will and cooperation and and those who wish to control others, (for the greater good of course) and encourage separation.
Very inspiring talk.

They just pick up a lot of Flies in their Spiderweb and notice the Spider sits on the edge
of the Web and then rushes in to catch the prey. Is there some reason a man has a
Fly on his pants. Are we being warned? What do you think? The Spider is the role model
and never leaves until the prey has been caught hence why the Bushmen sit in a circle. Kingjeff
