  The Band i play in wrote a song called Valhalla. the lyrics  were written by our bassist who in my eyes was a viking in a past life for sure 100%.  this is what he wrote and if you want to listen to the song, type Era Lune on google and go to our band page!

  Magneto technically is a hero, a hero for mutant rights, although his methods are not always "good" and his agenda looks more like mutant superiority, which I also understand given his past.  All the starseeds are like the mutants, some feel superior to humans and flaunt it, others do not see the differences as superior or inferior only different.

  But if you want to you can start to look at other villains in other mythologies, and youll see they arent always green.  I do admit green is a common colour choice for "bad" things, dragons, trolls, orc, goblins. however green is not the colour of ALL bad guys, so me pointing out that not all of a thing is this or that shows that I am not a totalitarian, and do not support enforcing my beliefs upon others, noter the word, beliefs, facts are not subject to debate or personal interpretations.

  Conan of Cimmeria is a real hero.  Jean-luc Picard is a real hero.  King arthur is a real hero.

  Real of course relating to their actions and morals and not of course to them being "real" since they are all fictional characters.  There is speculation that arthur is based upon real person, however it is unproven.  Another interesting note is that the character Conan was essentially channelled material if you take the author's testimony for truth.  Robert E Howard claimed that he was visited by Conan several times, that he would show up and stand behind him with this immensely powerful felling aura or force, and would dictate his life experiences to Howard to put down for posterity.  Charming thought and if you take the time to read it is certainly does seem to lock into the spreading of the atlanteans theories and the gradual loss of technology/magic through the generation since the time when the oceans drank atlantis.  People in the late 1800's and early 1900's were pretty much where we are now with theories about inner earth and other dimensions and beings on other planets, sadly 2 world wars and a drawn out "cold war" interrupted our focus.  So it really is no surprise that howard would have known about these theories and wrote just to spice up the current beliefs, you know just like how we have books and films that feed off current UFO/alien fascination, and on all sides good and bad presentations of those beings and situations.

  For example again hehe, the movie event horizon looks at the bad that could happen from using dimensional gateways, and the movie with jodi foster with the big device thingy that also makes a portal or something( i havent seen this film only read reviews and watched trailer and listened to comments here and there about it at sites like this) looks at the good side of it possibility wise.  It is the same device.

  or like the star gates and portals in hellboy, although both those series illustrate how the beings on both sides can be good or bad.  Anyways this is long, your turn.

    Also consider this which shits on the bone claws theory.

    The claws are round, the blades were flat.  'Nuff said!  Just trying to explain away their mistakes.

    Wolverine's first intended origin

    Despite suggestions that co-creator Len Wein originally intended for Logan to be a mutated wolverine cub, evolved to humanoid form by the High Evolutionary,^[16] Wein denies this:

    While I readily admit that my original idea was for Wolvie's claws to extend from the backs of his gloves ... I absolutely did not ever intend to make Logan a mutated wolverine. I write stories about human beings, not evolved animals (with apologies for any story I may have written that involved the High Evolutionary). The mutated wolverine thing came about long after I was no longer involved with the book. I'm not certain if the idea was first suggested by Chris Claremont, the late, much-missed Dave Cockrum, or John Byrne when he came aboard as artist, but it most certainly did not start with me.[17]

    Wein has stated in a conversation with Stan Lee included on the X-Men Origins: Wolverine blu-ray special features that he has read "Ten things you did not know about Wolverine," which states that he was originally intended to be a mutated wolverine cub, and this re-kindled Wein's frustration. He again stated that he had "always known that Wolverine was a mutant."^{[citation needed]}

    In X-Men #98 (April 1976), a biological analysis of Wolverine suggests that he was in some way different from the other X-Men, and in X-Men #103, Wolverine says he does not believe in leprechauns, to which the leprechaun replies, "Maybe leprechauns don't believe in talkin' wolverines, either."^[18]

    In an article about the evolution of Wolverine included in a 1986 reprint of The Incredible Hulk #180-181, titled Incredible Hulk and Wolverine, Cockrum is quoted as saying that he considered having the High Evolutionary play a vital role in making Wolverine a human.^[2] Writer Wein wanted Wolverine to be the age of a young adult, with superhuman strength and agility similar to Spider-Man. This changed when Wein saw Cockrum's drawing of the unmasked Wolverine as a hairy 40-year-old.^[2] Wein originally intended the claws to be retractable and part of Wolverine's gloves, and both gloves and claws would be made of adamantium.^[17] Chris Claremont eventually revealed that they were an integrated part of Wolverine's anatomy in X-Men #98 (April 1976). Writer Jeph Loeb used a similar origin for Wolverine in the Marvel continuity, having feral mutants be an evolved lifeform.^[19]

    Wolverine's second intended origin

    John Byrne said in interviews and on his website that he drew a possible face for Wolverine, but then learned that Dave Cockrum had already drawn him unmasked in X-Men #98 (April 1976), long before Byrne's run on the series.^[20][21] Later, Byrne used the drawing for the face of Sabretooth, an enemy of the martial artist superhero Iron Fist, whose stories Chris Claremont was writing. Byrne then had the idea of Sabretooth being Wolverine's father.^[22][23] Together, Byrne and Claremont came up with Wolverine being approximately 60 years old and having served in World War II after escaping from Sabretooth, who was approximately 120 years old.^[22] The plan had been for Wolverine to have been almost crushed in an accident; he would discover, when attempting to stand for the first time after recovering, that his healing factor does not work on bones, and his legs immediately break. He then spends over a decade in a hospital bed, almost going mad, when the Canadian government approaches him with the idea of replacing his skeleton one bone at a time with adamantium, the claws being a surprise. This origin, too, was never used.

    You sir are confusing the evolution of character development with what was actually prsented in the comics.  When wolverine was first envisioned his claws were part of his gloves, and not even from inside him, his character has developed over the years and adding in that he had claws his whole life was necessary to the storyline for continuity after magneto removed his metal and the artist mistanekly drew bone claws.

    This is just like the alien series of films, in the original film that lone alien was able to make coccoons and make more aliens, however in the second film they invented a queen to lay the eggs.

    As our fictional characters gain more popularity they require more consistent and in depth backstories, which when writing weekly comics for what almost 50 years now all by different authors creates soem schisms that need to be corrected, in this case the invention of the bone claws and a history for it.

    If the history is not written correctly then they are facts , and therefore ARE subject to interpretation, however if there is a red ball on the table it is a red ball no matter what, even a colour blind person may see it differently, but it doesnt change the fact the ball is red.  Facts are facts.

    Conan did not appear in his dreams or channeling, he described it as conan standing directly behind him, axe overhead, if you do not writ emy story youll be the next victim sort of thing.

    i am familiar with lovecrafts work, and by admitting that you believe the beasts from his work to be bacteira, you are saying that you dont know what he thinks they are, or why he wrote them, and have just decided to make up your own version for what they are, which is fine, but doesnt make your "intuition" true.

    Wolverine is alright, however they ruined his character the moment that magneto removed his adamantium.  Wolverine doesnt have natural claws, his blades were added, so when magneto removes the metal, there should be NO BONE CLAWS.  Wolverine is alot like myself, comes off gruff and grumpy, but is actually the best asset to the xmen.

  The collective conciousness, if it exists, was never tuned into going to valhalla, as it was only 1 of 10 places to go in asgard, and then while the nords were believing this all over the earth everyone else was believing their own thing.  So the collective conciousness has never been collective on earth because there has never been any unity.

  In future if you say what you mean in the first place you wouldnt have to waste time clarifying yourself.

  if the place is real and if souls actually went there then perhaps.  I do not care really one way or the other, until the place is proven to exist it is no different than hogworts school for magic kids in the harry potter series, a fantasy used to explain that which could not be explained at the time.
