I've really never been tempted to look back on past lives, though varied readers have given me hints.
Now for some reason I'm a bit curious what-who I've been-done.
Have you had a good regression-reading (good meaning you believed it)
How did it influence you?
Guess I'm principally curious about my ET heritage. Ya KNOW, foreign travel & such, to gain insight what led me here..... at this point in time.
My teacher gave me a clue what I came to learn (about love) but I'm still curious , as most everyone needs to work on that, or they wouldn't have to come back to earth.
Any educated - informed comments ? suggestions?
A friend gave me a self hypnosis regression tape... maybe I'll check it out.
Very well known expert on this ........forget his name though.
I've always felt I'd rather not know if I was beheaded or other stuff it's better to forget, leave behind.....

I had a regression hypnosis session in january and it didn't work. Apparently, only between 5 and 10% of people are successful at it, which was not mentionned by the therapist before he took my money. Knowing those things are not always granted by our higher selves.

Good to know ...yeah . we're messing with the natural process of incarnation..(forgetfulness) ... yet many many yogis learn of their past lives,,,,,,, and remembering IS something that ascension requires ...remembering who we REALLY are , and what our true capabilities are....Prob not what a regression would enable... but ya never know what clues may pop up when we decide to look inward

Now this is all BEYOND my imagination but it makes total sense as to why I am - the way I am today. I know I've had a past life in England and I thought during the regression I'd be taken there but was surprised at what I saw. So I do believe in it because I would never have thought of all of this.
I was shown the Earth, and it zoomed in on Africa. I was an African woman (now Caucasian), who left the family and tribe to wander in the bush in order to know if I can survive or not by myself. I returned home (a hut) to look into my father's eyes who seemed upset at me leaving for a while. He was relieved to see me and couldn't understand why I wandered off.
It explains my adventurous spirit today, and the way I would love to go into the bush again by myself, but I'm restricted due to lack of good health.
It also explains why I hate anything much to do with Africa. This could be African clothing, landscape, designs, etc. Yet I've never been there. It's as if I would detest the place - which is totally illogical. The only reason I can think of, is that life could've been very hard during that lifetime.

At another site , someone mentioned several folks regretted what they learned of their past,
but it sounded like they regretted learning some nasty stuff they'd done, that didn't match their self image.
Guess we carry enough guilt-regret in one lifetime....to deal with
I think any regrets could lead to alot of humility.
Whenever we look down on a murderer, perhaps we may have done that in a past life so therefore we accept that we can't judge. But still we judge and say 'I'd NEVER do that!!!!'
Butterfly, How true....THAT is.... it's easier to forgive-overlook OUR faults than others
Yet regret-guilt can be crippling to some, who are already burdened
I recall volunteering to be a hypnosis subject , in my 20's.
But I was never called back after being tested.
No idea why as I'd done meditation & tripping.
However I don't care to be controlled , and perhaps that's a factor in selection.
Or maybe I'm a psycho , in reality.
