So when someone says "Your wrong, this way is right" it sounds insane to me! Everyone is searching for happiness...even if what they do might 'seem' detrimental. Another Buddha quote...spirituality is the search for non suffering. Thats what everyone is doing. Even the high class...snobby, take it all bankers. They feel their only way to gain happiness is through the pain of others, and vice versa. In this respect, I see everyone on thier own path...learning at their own paces. Books, teachings, texts etc are just that. Teachings. The experience is much different from the teaching. As I said, a teaching is just designed to help you learn to experience!
Fighting over whos right and whos wrong is the same thing that happens between religions. It is the leading cause of pain in the world...genocide, the twin towers, collateral damage and innocent death all over the world. Its easy to be fooled by our emotions when someone thinks differently to us and it is what most people do. It takes more courage and effort to stay in touch with your true self. With love. To REALISE, that to them...their view or opinion is as real as yours is! To think "Maybe I may be wrong too!?"...and to realise that conflict is against what most believe in any way, so why create it? Nice question to ask those that inflict pain on others in the name of belief.
What are your thoughts?

It's the whole "duality is evil, we are all the same therefore we should all think and feel and act the same" that I'm referring too.
I firmly believe that ALL religions (yes, I really mean all of them) are valid and appropriate for the people following it. We are all different and individual (separate parts of the whole) and so one path cannot possibly fit all of us.
I really steer clear of the "we are all one, we are all the same" (imagine a robotic, monotone voice saying that) kind of mentality. It is far more destructive than accepting that we are all different. We are intelligent, spiritual beings having an emotional, human experience. That experience includes different belief systems.
While I may not agree with what another believes, I respect the fact that that is where they are on their eternal journey, and whatever they are living/doing in this particular incarnation is their personal level of Soul growth.
Believe me, I've had a lot of "unlearning" to do......more so than actual learning, or remembering, for I feel that when all the conditioning and "brain clutter" is gone, the Truth reveals itself naturally and easily, especially if one Loves Truth and has a sincere desire to know it.
Life itself is eternal.....and if we don't "get it" this time around, there's always another and another and another chance. While I may not agree with another, I can still respect and honor the other person as a part of me and as a fragment, or spark of Creator Source.
