why do scientists refuse to admit that science and spirituality are overlapping?

there are loads things which are kept hidden from the public and society.
Even nasa has technology which is 30 years ahead of now... yet its all hush hushed ;)
and some scientists have admitted that spirit and science are interconnected scientists like Michio Kaku, and Dr. Emoto , Greg Braden
