There was a public lecture in town on reality and illusion.
A father wanted to go there, and because he had nobody to take care of his little son, he took the kid with him to the lecture.
It was a long evening with amazing thoughts. What, said the lecturer, what if all we consider outside is in fact - illusion? All that you can see? Even all you call universe and stars and galxies and space and time?
When they went home, the kid was not tired but started to ask his father.
Dad, the boy said, if all we can see is not real but like in the movie theater, then there must be a screen which is real.
How you get that, his dad wanted to know.
If I see you and you are not real and you see me and I am not real to you, then there are two telling they see something which is not real. And if all people which are not real to me say the same, that all poeple they see are not real, then there are no real people at all, right?
Right, said his dad.
And all unreal people say they see the world which is unreal too. But how can unreal people see an unreal world, dad?
Because we live in a movie?
No, said the boy. Because we love to be real, and all we love becomes real.
And what is the screen?
Your memory, dad...
