  Robby,

  I forgot to share one other technique I use in my discernment.  I will sometimes follow up information I receive with one of my very trusted guides that has been with me for quite awhile.  I am familiar and very comfortable with one guide in particular and I have been known to verify information through this guide if I'm still not sure.  I also agree with several others who have commented on the original question you posed about following what you feel to be true in your heart.

    Well if I may share a 2nd party story ..... Drunvalo, who is now regarded as a world teacher by many, has 2 angels who he confers with to verify things or get permission for new projects.  He says they are aspects of himself,  that he's learned over the years to trust implicitely.

      I don't hear this too often and it seems like a wonderful asset.

    What you say seems like a lovely gift .... I'm envious. of your perception and thanx for sharing.

            I also wondered how many of us re-examine our belief system (ever) and appreciate this suggestion.

      My belief system is rather in flux, as I'm curious what others have discovered, and love learning....BUT we all have our blind spots and  resistance to change ....

           Empirical truth is relative, IMO .... at least the understanding of it certainly is....(science is a prime example of this) and very prone to tunnel vision.

            Anyway thanx for all the input.

  You expressed just what I was now thinking....

  If this turns into a debate or Egofest ,,, others may be hesitant to share valuable, personal insight-information.

  We all wanna be right, but please honor the spirit of sincere sharing,,,without attacking others, or turning this into a personal blog. 

  You never know.... that new, insecure and somewhat shy member may have insights YOU may benefit from.

  And he-she may feel intimidated by argument.  

  Even I get drawn into debate.. but perhaps this thread isn't the ideal time-place... if we really want to hear what others have to offer. Try to be kind.

  Most of the time I dont even think about it. When I see/read/hear something questionable a red light will start flashing in front of my inner eye. Mostly I just notice it and move on. If I am not sure why its flashing I will start to question or examine further. General trend here is that if people turn offensive, defensive, starts trashing U or avoiding U, its a good sign they are crumbling in the Light, at which point I also tend to move on, having "proven" to myself I was right in getting the flashes. Sometimes though, if I get the feeling the "message" could be damaging, manipulating or carry a "secret" agenda I will  "pull it/him/her/them" into the Light and see what happens. Truth will stand in the Light and need no assurances or explanations, lies/liars will usually go to extremes trying to "convince" U they are right or simply avoid U. The more they talk and try and convince U, or avoid U, the less Light I see.

  Sometimes people will try and pass what they call facts to U. If its a topic I dont know enuff about, I will check up on it, reference on it, and when the referred facts dont match up I know I am dealing with a liar. I know that one is easy, but hey  truth is easy, only lies are difficult

  Sooner or later each of us will develop into a walking/talking Polygraph ;-)

    I had hoped folks would share personal experience rather than debate theories they've read or fight over who is right- most aware.

    Wars have been waged over similar issues.... (whose truth is valid).

    There are lots of ways to bake a cake or discover one's truth. 

     Highly respected-enlightened spiritual teachers have diverse ways of expessing-interpreting the same source truth.... and while dialogue is useful , name calling-accusations get us no where....what works for one may seem rubbish to another.

    Take what you can use and let it be.... I'm glad this topic was found useful,,,,

     I haven't a lot more to offer but will glean what I can from those who contribute,    Some quite interesting events - possibilities have been raised,

     This is the forum to safely share experiences we might hesitate expressing elsewhere. and I appreciate the candor.

      Awesome insight - love the exchange of dialogue and shared experiences highlighted here from individuals perspective to get to the get to the Truth - for me the Truth is what it means to me and only me how ever I may choose to "verify" the source. I am ok with individuals also expressing "doubt and validity of others methods" wanting to debate as see it as an opportunity for those individuals to learn too and for me as long as we are open to the learning of the differences that are shared...:-)

    What does the "U" stand for (is it just a short way of saying "you") ?

    I would deluge you with a number of things to test, if only to receive additional confirmation, but also to make another friend who understood me and the things I was doing. I wish I had more friends like that, to share with.

      Well, very soon ill be getting what other people consider to be Superpowers.

      But the real reason is because im going to get a very special ability, which does not really have a name I don't think, but is the sort of thing that allows one to rewrite reality as if they were making Wishes.

      Maybe there is a name for it and I just haven't found it, I call it the I AM Power because it forges a direct link to the I Am That I Am (it comes from the Higher Self... from Christ Consciousness). Its also theorized that the Ark of the Covenant worked the same way, and although it was famous for certain reasons it actually did what it was commanded to do.

      Its like having The Orin from The Neverending Story, except I myself would be the conduit, not some physical trinket that could get lost. And I would never be able to lose it, for the simple fact of the need for it to remain Protected.

      But I wouldn't actually have to be an Ascended Master to have that kind of power, I have simply reached the stage of understanding, wisdom, and compassion where I can be trusted to use it right.

       

      I could do basically anything I wanted just because of that, but I also have a huge storehouse of supernatural abilities (ie, the kind that have physical effects) that are right under the surface just waiting to be expressed. Culminated with great mastery from all of my past lifetimes, and from the Morphic Field of the entire cosmos (ie, because someone else out there somewhere does it - can do it too).

      And so ill also use my I AM Power to activate those things too, so that way I can rely on my Own skills too and not become overly dependent on that Prime Creation ability. And of course expand on my own self and continue to grow without that special ability also getting in the way of my development.

       

      From that... it is understood there are Reasons for me to have that much capability, because it will be put to use in the most extreme ways that will produce very big and lasting changes. Not just on this planet but other places too.

      And part of the reason for those skills to Be Used to actually do something, is because the Outsiders (ETs and Angels) cant use their abilities to create big changes here. But I Am a Human who lives on this planet, so I have the authority to create those kinds of changes.

       

      But there's no ego associated with it. Because I also understand how Unsettling doing "big things" can be... and for all I know I might just end up living my own life in peace and having these capabilities there for my own expression and enjoyment.
