Astronomers have restored the original Babylonian zodiac by recalculating the dates that correspond with each sign to accommodate millennia of subtle shifts in the Earth's axis. Prepare to have your minds blown, all you people with easily blowable minds.
according to the Minnesota Planetarium Society's Parke Kunkle the borders of the Signs actually are here:
Capricorn: Jan. 20-Feb. 16.
Aquarius: Feb. 16-March 11.
Pisces: March 11-April 18.
Aries: April 18-May 13.
Taurus: May 13-June 21.
Gemini: June 21-July 20.
Cancer: July 20-Aug. 10.
Leo: Aug. 10-Sept. 16.
Virgo: Sept. 16-Oct. 30.
Libra: Oct. 30-Nov. 23.
Scorpio: Nov. 23-29.
Ophiuchus:* Nov. 29-Dec. 17.
Sagittarius: Dec. 17-Jan. 20.

Calypso I love you and thank you for this post and bringing to light and healthy discussion the
times past. It would appear that 12 x 12 = 144 is the Sacred Foundation of All That Is throughout Cosmos.
The fabled 13th Sign that they speculated on they arrived at it by taking from the other signs. The pointers in the
Bible say we are to cultivate the 12 fruits of the Spirit and then the 13th represented by Jesus was a gift
ie Grace the Gift of Our Heavenly Father symbolized and taken exampled by Father Christmas giving gifts
at the Mass of the Christ ie Christ Mas/Christmas an event that has gone on for many many millenia in Spirit.
Also I believe if you were dwelling in Arcturus or the Pleiades or elsewhere you would be taught the same story
using local star patterns as an introduction into Sacred Geometry. In progression we start at Aries with a dot with Taurus a Straight Line With Gemini a Triangle, With Cancer a Square, With Leo 5 a Pentagram With Virgo a ^ Pointed Star of David or Symbol of Rejuvenation if you are Hindu because the Zodiac has great age. With Libra a 7 Pointed Star, With Scorpio Double Cancer for you have two Interlaced Squares being 8 Points, Sagittarius is 9 Pointed, Capricorn is a10 Pointed Star Aquarius is 11 Pointed while Pisces is three Squares or a Double Star of David being 12 Pointed.
This then is the Sacred Format of Foundational Geometry throughout the Cosmos not just here so I believe what we see in the remnant of the 13th Sign is a symbol of the Lunar Calendar having nothing at all to do with the Master Zodiac Foundation we use for Star Movement. well I suppose that this is for the ones born in nower times...not for ppl. who were born years ago.....
when I was born...it was scorpio ;) So I think this doesn´t matter to me now.
I am not informed enough about this to make a valid asessment. Nevertheless, I feel compelled to comment that I am not at all "Libra-like" and my personal history in this lifetime describes to a "T" the scorpionic mythos and experience, with some characteristic qualities that could be attributed to the influence of being close to the time of Ophiuchus.
I believe that the human spirit is ultimately transcendent of and beyond the realm of astrology anyway. The soul is huge and beyond time and space and for it to fit into this little "peanut-shell" of a physical body, it has to be exactly in resonance with the entire physical plane of existence. This is why astrology is perfect in its realm, yet inexact because of the factor of the human spirit which, in truth, has its existence in realms far beyond the one that astrology is relevant to.
I am july 12th. Cancer sun, aries moon and virgo rising....
No change for me. Still a Leo, still chill and always right ;P
))))))
Thank you, Ginger, i think smth true in this too, much love))
Somesayi'mnot there are 2 reasons as to why Moses would wear Goats horns the 1st is because he was a Teacher of the Ancient Mysteries and learnt the Sacred knowledge in Egypt which had been passed down from Lemuria and Atlantis and yes wear do Goats fight to go always to the Top of the Hill or your will find them perched on cars. So yes Capricorn would also symbolize sharing in the water pouring because it represents the High Brain in Esoteric Chemistry of the Body. The 2nd is of course Moses teaching about the Day of Atonement in the Israelite Calendar. On that Day they took 2 goats one for a sin offering and one for a scape goat which they let go into the wildernerness.Moses wore the horns as it represented this ancient ceremony. The people who follow witchcraft turn the Pentagram upside down and they use the goat's head blaspheming what it means. Blessings Calypso Light Love Peace and Harmony Kingjeff
Kingjeff, think you for your wise words. I did a little homework and looked into this a little more. I don't know why, but I have been absolutely obssessed with tying the zodiac to a grand clock of human history. Maybe you are right, I am thinking that Moses may be the Capricorn/goat rather than a representation of aries/the ram. I did look up the "scapegoat" ritual/ceremony...and there were a few things I was thinking.... not only may have Moses literally wore goat horns, but the Day of Atonement involves sending a goat off into the wilderness as you said..and we all know that Moses led the Isrealites out of Egypt through the wilderness...so there is one parallel...but this doesn't solve the half fish part...i know the fish is a symbol of Jesus, but I'm not sure how that would fit in here
As far as how the capricorn could represent a period in history, or better yet, perhaps the zodiac is a story about our relationship with God and the Capricorn is just one chapter...there are a few theories that I have read about where in the world the capricorn came from, but according to mythology an immortal Picus who had the power to manipulate time, had sea-goat children who kept wanting to crawl up on the shore even though they weren't supposed to do so. And Pricus got very angry and couldn't figure out why they were so insistent on climbing on the shore. Eventually, the immortal Pricus realizes that he can't control the destiny of his children... :( So he just let's them be. For some reason, this reminds me of Moses and the 10 Commandments...God's children were expected to obey him, but they failed, miserably...and thus the moral of this story of the era in this time is to let the children be until they are ready to come back around themselves.
So maybe we come back around with Aquarius...maybe this is an era of getting know ourselves all over again, understanding our origins, and realizing that perhaps God was right all along :) Then we pour all this knowledge into a fish..aka...the Mother Goddess so we can be reborn and return back to Aries to start this crap all over again. That's my story so far :) I'll keep working on it.
Really, the stories associated with the characters in the zodiac represent the development of our collective consciousness and our relation to God.
well, they say he was born with it, with horns, is that true?
Love))))
