Great idea...that is why it was so fun doing that acrylic painting of the woman. It was much bolder strokes and not so nitpicky and I actually liked it better than some of my sketches....I do get excessive with sketchs a lot, and I also get hand cramps a lot too...I clutch the pencil too hard and after awhile my hand all cramps up...I think I will go back to doing charcoal sketches again too like that first picture of my grandson....was not so detailed but captured his essence....it is a lot of fun and flows out quicker for me than with pencil.

I go through spells....sometimes I try to draw something and can't do it at all, and then other times I guess I must get in the zone or something and they come out really quick...but no matter what I do, I am never happy with the results, lol...I used to crank them out in college a lot to make money. People would pay me to do a sketch of some of their photos....I used to make some good money doing that, but then kind of lost interest for awhile. This last one is my first attempt at using paints last year...actually not too bad, but sketching is less messy, lol...
