George Gurdjieff in Egypt

I've been reading about George Gurdjieff lately, and came across this book that looks interesting. If I'm unable to find it at a local library, I'll look for a copy online.

This is the question which impelled G. I. Gurdjieff's search for the origin of esoteric knowledge.

Gurdjieff believed that the esoteric knowledge of ancient civilizations contained the answer to his question and so set out to find its origin.
