This one had a very distinct shared-dream feel to it, even though I believe it was more than likely not shared. It occurred some years ago, around the time of the phoenix attack dream I believe. It had a very important feel to it although I believe it was mostly metaphorical in nature, or heck, it could be related to past lives. Who knows.
The setting:
A lot like Reiz's mirror world I saw when he used the blood rune spell on me. The world was desolate and destroyed for the most part. The sky was overcast, a mono-colour grey, splashed with a variable black at times. Ash clouds blotted out the sky. Rubble and debri from buildings scattered all over the ground, a building still standing was a very rare sight, lest it even be in one piece.
Most of the world was destroyed by either the great world war (Like WW3, everyone was involved) or natural freak catastrophes which were a daily occurrence. Very apocalyptic type world. Ash littered the ground everywhere. I was part of a small group, around 20 people ish, we were survivors of the war and building a resistance to the police states, which were being instituted among the small surviving population by the world governments who of course, "miraculously" survived.
People were being rounded up and enslaved, left and right. We made our way to one of the few still standing compounds, in the middle of nowhere. It was a military owned compound, where our hope for freedom was being kept sedated and under guard. After a gun fight with the guards in the compound, we were finally able to overpower them and storm the building. There we found a young man who had been kept drugged up and strapped down to a chair. Why? Because he had abilities.
What kind of abilities? Like powers. They somehow related to fire. I don't know why. I believe this was also a metaphorical element. Obviously, he posed a great threat to the powers that be. We carried him out of there and ripped the needles out of his body that were feeding him crap. He was like our leader, our source of inspiration that fueled the resistance. Of course, I wish I could say we all made a stand against the powers and lived happily ever after. Even though freeing our leader caused us to celebrate, we still had a huge task ahead of us and not everyone was guaranteed to live.
This is reality, it doesn't always have happy endings. The dream stopped there. What do you all make of this?

Sounds somewhat familiar to a dream I had 2 nights ago with Anush and 2 other girls in it. We were also fighting in wee skirmishes on the outskirts of towns, it's still all quite vague but it'll come back to me......when I couldn't tell you! Alas.
Seems rather strange to be having similar dreams, coincidence? I don't know, strange and weird......definitely!
