Egyptian Timeline Identical with Biblical - You'd think the Bible might mention that huh?
Archaic Egyptian religion encompasses the beliefs and rituals of Ancient Egypt. It was followed for over three thousand years until the establishment and/or conquest of Coptic Christianity and Islam.
Throughout the vast and complex history of Egypt, the dominant beliefs of the ancient Egyptians merged and developed as leaders of different groups gained power. This process continued even after the end of the ancient Egyptian civilization as we know it today.
Every character in the Bible has a name similiar to Egyptian Rulers.
Aten was the sun-disk, the body in which the essence of the divine being was made visible. He rose to prominence in the reign of Amenhotep IV, who thought of himself as the embodiment of Aten. The king changed his name from Amenhotep ('Amun-is-satisfied') to Akhenaten ('Glorified-Spirit-of-the-Aten'), and designed an iconography in which Aten was depicted as a sun-disk with rays ending in hands. Atenism was exclusive to the royal family, with no appeal to ordinary Egyptians: when Akhenaten died, it too died.
Amun, whose name means the Invisible One, was usually depicted as a man wearing two tall plumes on his head, and holding a sceptre in his hand. His sacred animals were the ram and the goose, both symbols of virility - which was one of Amun's characteristics. During the Middle Kingdom he was identified with the god Re, as Amen-Re, and Thebes (modern-day Luxor) became his cult-centre. His great temple at Karnak is a demonstration of his status as king of the gods.
Ptah was head of three gods and goddesses who were worshipped at Memphis (near modern-day Cairo); the other two were his wife, Sekhmet, a lion-headed goddess who brought destruction upon the enemies of the god Re; and their son, the lotus god, Nefertem. He was a creator-god who, according to the Memphite Theology recorded on the so-called Shabaka Stone (now in the British Museum), brought the world into being through thought and speech. He became identified with Sokar, the god of the necropolis, at Memphis, and as Ptah-Sokar became a god of the dead.
The God RA was identified as the sun, and was most often depicted as the sun's disk itself, or as a falcon-headed man wearing a sun-disk on his head. His chief cult centre was at Iunu, often referred to under its Greek name Heliopolis (City of the Sun). Ra could fly around in chunks of the sun and manifested himself in several other forms: as Atum, the evening sun; as Khepri, the morning sun, most famously represented by the Great Sphinx at Giza. Re was head of a group of nine gods, who are known jointly as the Great Ennead.
Osiris, a member of the Great Ennead, was not only god and chief judge of the Underworld but also god of resurrection, the Inundation and vegetation. He was represented as a mummified king. According to the myth of Osiris, he was an enlightened king of Egypt, who was murdered by his jealous brother, Seth, but was resurrected. This myth ensured that he was worshipped at Abydos, his chief cult centre, where his death and resurrection were celebrated annually in a miracle play. He was also universally revered, not least for the hope of eternal life that he held out to all Egyptians.
Isis was one of the great goddesses, the most popular member of the Egyptian pantheon, revered for her magical powers and devotion to her husband, Osiris, and son, Horus. Isis and her sister, Nephthys, acted as divine mourners of the dead. Together with the goddesses Neith and Selket they protected coffins and Canopic jars - Isis had the task of protecting the jar containing the liver. In the Late Period her chief cult centre was at Philae, but she was universally revered for many centuries. The cult of this divine mother was eventually superseded only by that of the Virgin Mary.
Ancient Egyptian legends tell of Tep Zepi, or the First Time. This is described as an age when "sky gods" came down to Earth and raised the land from mud and water.
They supposedly flew through the air in flying "boats" or fire and brought laws and wisdom to man through a royal line of pharaohs.
Of course, this was all thrown out the window when christianity came along. Keep in mind that the Gods were the one and only 'religion' that there was. No other conflicting beliefs? Why? Well, because it was fact, not faith. The modern church would have you believe that's it's just a myth.
On the edge of occams razor, what truly indeed is more likely... An advanced alien species came down, dice and spliced their genes with neantherdal to produce us, like ALL other ancient cultures claim? OR, a bearded yet invisible spirit in the sky basically went ZAP creating us in six days.
Well, at least the bible concurs that he (or they) "made us in his (or their) own image"
It's really just a conflict within the bible texts itself, just like hundreds of others I mean, to "Make one in ones own image", does there not HAVE to be a physical manifestation of some carbon based being? Of course it does. Funny how the bible never address's this.
In the beginning, there was the mighty god Ra and his wife Nut. Ra-Harakhte who was seen as a winged solar-disk. Nut gave birth to Osiris. At the time of Osiris' birth, a loud voice was heard all over the world, saying, "The lord of all the earth is born."

Osiris grew and became a mighty king. He went about the job of civilizing his people. He taught them agriculture and animal husbandry. He gave them a code of laws to live by and showed them the proper ways in which to worship the gods. Egypt became a mighty land under his kind and gentle rule. His subjects gladly worshiped the ground on which he walked. When Egypt was civilized, Osiris left to bring his teachings to other lands.
P'TAH (Gods of Heaven came to Earth from the Celestial Disk) installed as Egypt's first Divine Ruler his own son RA and RA then divided the Egyptian kingdom between the 'gods' OSIRIS and SETH who fought over control of the kingdom.
After OSIRIS was killed, resuscitated and resurrected, his place on the throne was taken over by his son HORUS, whose mother was ISIS. Then HORUS was given Upper and Lower Egypt by the Lord of the Earth thus becoming the legitimate heir in the RA-OSIRIS line of succession, establishing that kingship had a perpetual divine connection.
