Food for Thought

Self acceptance comes from meeting lifes challenges vigorously. Don't numb yourself to your trials and difficulties, nor build mental walls to exclude pain from your life. You will find peace not by trying to escape your problems, but by confronting them courageously. You will find peace not in denial, but in victory.Have many of us have caught ourselves doing these very things? We throw our hands up in the air when things don't work out, frustrated and angry our work becomes stagnant!? We build walls to protect our feelings and from being hurt or to shut loved ones, friends and family out!? We escape our problems and deny that the problem even exists!?Action without study is fatal, Study without action is futile!!

  • One thing about myself is that Im extremely critical about myself, my actions, etc. I am my own worst critic and Im NOT afraid to exponse the 'chinks' in my armor, I thought in part this was a defense mechanism becuase I was picked on and teased when I was a kid, but I realize now that it shows I can level my own (critical cynisism and bluntness) at myself as these things no longer hurt me, I can laugh at my self all day because I LOVE WHO I AM...I HAVE ACCEPTED WHO AND WHAT I AM!! Thank you Christy....someone once told me I got the "MOJO" at first I didn't have a clue as to what the h*ck they were talking about!? I know now but the problem is I DON'T WANT IT nor do I want to have anything too do with it!! Im being a cynic and a pessimist and I don't like it so...sorry people but Im taking my LEGOS and Im going home.~_~
