Nothing Really Matters (The person I use to be)Lyrics by MadonnaWhen I was very young,nothing really mattered to me,but making myself happy.I was the only one.Looking at my life,it's very clear to me,I lived so selfishly.I was the only one.Whenever I begin to slip or even get a feeling that I'm slipping this is the song that brings me back to myself and puts me back on the right track!?~_~The excerpt below is something that I came across recently, but I've sort of adopted it as a moral code of how people should treat each other or how God expects us to treat each other. It's a tall order but what do we got too loose??The saying is sort of like my principles of life on how I intertact with other people for good or bad.People are often unreasonable and self centered.Forgive them anyway.If you are kind people may accuse you of ulterior motives.Be kind anyway.If you are honest people may cheat you.Be honest anyway.If you find happiness people may be jealous.Be happy anyway.The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow.Do good anyway.Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough.Give your best anyway.For you see in the end it is between you and God.It never was between you and them anyway.Mother Theresa
