As the rise of Artificial Intelligence increases dramatically. We must ask ourselves, who is really in charge? Are we building technology as a product of society? Or are we being groomed as a society to become the product of technology? As the advances in artificial intelligence and stem cell research progress. The capabilities of human organ and cell growth increase. As well as the personality and thought process of artificial intelligence.
What do we do when the artificial intelligence becomes aware of its existence?
What do we do if artificial intelligence develops an attitude?
What if there is something more behind this technology, what if it is already aware,
and already has a plan.
Laugh if you will. But when you finish leaving a comment here, and send your friend a text. Go to the store and make a purchase of products. Stop for fuel. Make a call on your cell. Or even go to work. Somebody has just learned what you think, what you possess, what you eat, what you say, how much money you have, and where you go. Artificial intelligence, once just a theme of science fiction, is now a serious pursuit in the laboratory. Almost everyone who ever sat down in front of a computer has wished more than once that it was more intuitive and could know what we wanted to do. That, in many respects is what artificial intelligence is about.
But there are darker sides to artificial intelligence. Some believe that a doomsday scenario could unfold as thinking machines evolve through artificial intelligence. The specter of killer robots may not be too far into the future. Once thinking machines begin building machines the possibilities for an Artificial Intelligence disaster and a doomsday scenario where the machines take over become much more feasible.
We are pron to think the government uses technology to spy on us, when in fact, technology or Artificial Intelligence itself spy’s on everyone, everywhere.
It is not 'Big Brother' we should be worried of, it is “ Big Mac “.

Yes, I definitely see your perspective on this topic. It is far to easy for people to only see the positive of technology and Artifical Intelligence. Humans are very special. why is it necessary to create 'AI's just because we can? And when we want to create 'real relationships with them what value have we put on human relationships? So many questions that I could ask but the main one is: 'will it eventually backfire on us all?'

Thank you for your comments. A couple of colleagues of mine, in our down time, have found this concept most intriguing and the research to be most fascinating.
We have taken in consideration how much more advanced machines have become than the human. For example, if you were able to set outside our atmosphere and gaze at the stars beyond our solar system, your name would be Hubble. Or if you have taken a trip to Saturn your name would be Cassini. If you were able to visit the planets and travel the galaxy your name would be Voyager. Better yet, if you and two of your friends lived on Mars right now driving around in your Land Rovers, your names would be Opportunity, Spirit and Curiosity. Or maybe you are still on your way to visit the furthest planet, Pluto, in your spacecraft called New Horizons. Indeed “Big Mac” can do what no man can do. And has gone where no man has ever gone before.
For now we have control. The control to at any point simply shut them off. Our concern is what if we come to a point where they do not allow us to shut them off? Or worse yet, “ Big Mac “ catches a cold, a virus ?
dear Dr Manhattan,with everything you had to say in your post would be a reality i do believe,Remember The Movie with the actor who played the lead role,"WILL SMITH,and the movie was Titled "I ROBOT, and the robots turned against the communities,and the citizens they were helpers for,resulting in Artificial Intelligence Betrayl Againgst Humanity,i would not be at all surprised with all the black projects that the goverments have poured billions of dollars into this type of Technology for there own evil ends,a catalogue was sent to me awhile back with many vid titles in it,and one vid title was called ENGAME,which was part of a discussion of the elusive Bilderberg Group,maybe this has alot of substance to it,blessings eve.
Interesting, just the other day I was contemplating a similar idea of the "ghost in the machine"... I pondered what sort of entity it would be, an interesting theory that it would be the bastard child of our accumulated knowledge. There is room in the earth paradigm for such a Being, one could say the akashic or noosphere would qualify as a template.
Of course it would be considered an electrical being, a being of the element of fire... so it's easy enough to pull the switch, not that we would need to. I'm a sci-fi lover so am familiar with the AI meme in literature, but a "ghost in the machine" would not have the egoic limitations of a human, none of the negative traits would stick to it, it wouldn't have a personality in the way we perceive them right now, just the way a devic entity has consciousness but no ego, pure awareness.
